The first few paragraphs deal with how Rabbi Luria came to the conclusion that Phineas became Elijah. Rabbi Luria says that Phineas inherited a genetic "drop" from Joseph, and a another genetic "drop" from Cain. Remember, Rabbi Luria did not write. His number one student, Rabbi Vital wrote the book.
Rabbi Vital does not say where the “drop” from Joseph comes from, but I suspect it is from the Keter.
The Jewish sages say that Joseph controlled his evil nature, which is Cain, which is the left ear of Adam of Atzilut that he inherited from Jethro, Moses' father-in-law.
"Phineas" describes this "double soul". Phineas had two soul drops, one spark from Joseph through his mother and the second from the side of Jethro, which is Cain.
Binah has two sides. She is the two ears of understanding.
Phineas received the right ear of Adam of Atzilut from the souls of Nadab and Abihu, the first two sons of Aaron who served as high priest together, but were destroyed by God for offering strange fire.
Phineas also had a Nefesh, or a personal soul that was born with him.
A new soul, Elijah the Tishbite, was added to Nadab and Abihu to prepare it to be joined to Phineas.
Another new soul, Elijah from the tribe of Gad, which was to act as a mediator between Elijah the Tishbite, and the Nefesh of Phineas, was also aided.
The bottom line is that a mediator had to be added to connect the soul that Phineas was born with to Nadab and Abihu. In the New Testament Nadab and Abihu are called "Elijah." Or, "the spirit of Elias." In other words, Nadab and Abihu which represent ancient Adam joined to the soul of Elijah are simply called "the spirit of Elias." Perhaps it was called "the spirit of Elias" because it was a "new soul" similar to the soul of Elijah that was added to Phineas
That soul, the spirit of Elias, was added to the soul called Jesus of Nazareth by a mediator, the soul that was incarnate in John the Baptist.
John the Baptist was the mediator through which the soul of Nadab and Abihu and the new soul called "the spirit of Elias" were joined to this time the soul called "Jesus of Nazareth."
Apparently the union took place in a different manner this time, because there was no permanent soul added as a mediator, but the Holy Spirit was added. This must have been the Holy Spirit of truth which comes from Binah. We are also told that Jesus was "anointed" with the Holy Spirit, so there was some kind of "spiritual glue" that "stuck" the Holy Spirit to the soul of Jesus of Nazareth.
The "oil" is the "Son," so "Anointed with the Holy Spirit" Means "the Spirit of Truth, Which Is Binah, Joined to the Son." At His Baptism Jesus Received the Mother and the Son, That Is, Nadab and Abihu (Mother/Ears/understand) and the Son of God, Who Is the Mediator. It's the Same Thing Just Expressed in Different Ways.
Jesus was the mediator for the apostles who also received the mother and the son by tongues of fire on the day of Pentecost. But the mother and the son were not permanently joined (anointed). In other words, when the bodies of the apostles died, there was no permanent union of the mediator and their personal soul. Therefore, they did not share Jesus' experience of full salvation. What did they experience? Their soul might have been saved but they did not become a glorified man. This means they are not independently joined to ancient Adam, apart from Jesus.
I believe that the church receives only the Shekinah which is the daughter, a drop of the spirit of the mother. Jesus’ Melchut/Yesod must be received through Esoteric doctrine.
I was born with the seed that was delivered to Israel, that is the Malchut/Yesod, also called "primordial king," but there was no spirit present. So the primordial kings are the seed without the spirit and the Holy Spirit is the spirit without the seed.
The full expansion of the Yesod of the holy seed is righteous Adam, the mediating priest that joins the high priest above and the vessel below. This spiritual condition of the presence of righteous Adam makes us eligible for the Lord Jesus Christ to "marry us." But he is actually marrying Adam, his mediating priest, within us. He is complete in himself. We do not contain his lower half. He is the high priest. That which is formed in us from the seed is righteous Adam, the priest. The primordial kings are the seed of righteous Adam, the mediator.
The Lord Jesus Christ is ancient Adam, who comes from the world above Atzilut. Righteous Adam, the mediating priest, comes from Atzilut. The mind of God within the vessel is in the world of creation and the new vessel itself is in the world of forms and the world of action.
The Shekinah is the Holy Spirit of Promise, which is given to convict us of sin so that we might repent.
What is the difference between what the Baptist receives when he is "saved." And what the born again believer receives when he receives the Holy Spirit?
The Baptist type experience called "salvation" is a manifestation of The Holy Spirit of Truth which convicts us of sin, but the Holy Spirit of Promise which brings the gifts and the calling of God is without repentance. You receive a desire for God, but not necessarily a conviction of sin. I do not believe that I was convicted of sin when I received the Holy Spirit of Promise. I did not understand that I was a sinner at that time.
The Holy Spirit of Promise is the Shekinah, the spirit of grace that touches our heart to desire God. It is for the sinner that does not even know that he or she is a sinner. Therefore, it is called the spirit of grace. It is designed to bring you to the Word, which then convicts you of sin. The Baptist type believer that has the Word should recognize the Holy Spirit of Promise in the Word. Those that do not are companions with the Jews that did not receive Jesus. They refuse to go on.
And now the spirit filled church is being overtaken by another spirit and those that "did not go on" are condemning the whole spirit filled movement., And rightly so because today most of its adherents are not manifesting the Shekinah, but another counterfeit spirit
Lord Jesus! Where do we go from here? How does this get fixed?
