HEB 13:10-14 - AT

Heb 13:10-15

10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Heb 13:10-14

10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

We have an altar where those [priests] who serve [God] at the [physical] tabernacle have no right to eat,

11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

the bodies of the animals were burned outside of the camp. only the blood was brought into the camp of israel

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

likewise, Jesus, in order to sanctify the people with his own spiritual blood, suffered the loss of his own material body

13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

therefore, let [Christ] issue forth (go) from the battleground (camp) [of the mind] to [Jesus] who is bears the reproach [of being without a body]

14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

Because we do not have a body (city) that does not die, but we are looking forward to receiving one

ALTERNATE TRANSLATION

HEB 13:10-14

I.

10        We have an altar where those [priests] who serve [God] at the [physical] tabernacle have no right to eat,

11        Because, the high priest brought the blood of the bodies of the animals that were burned outside of the camp into the sanctuary for a sin offering, and

12        Jesus, likewise, in order to purify the people with his own spiritual blood, suffered the loss of [his material body];

13        Therefore, let [Christ] issue forth from the battleground [of the unconscious part of your mind, the altar where Jesus], who bears the reproach

14        Of one who is outside of a body that does not die, receives the [bodies] he is looking forward to;
