AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING NETWORK

In addition to authoring numerous books, Sheila R. Vitale has performed more than 1,000 audio lectures illustrating numerous spiritual principles through her ministry Living Epistles Ministries. Outside of her faith-based teaching work, Sheila Vitale supports the Christian Broadcasting Network.

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) was founded more than 50 years ago as a platform to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a mass communication medium. Since then, the network has committed itself to innovation and excellence in holding to that call, expanding itself into one of the foremost faith-based networks in the world.

CBN and its flagship program, The 700 Club, now broadcast to some 200 countries worldwide and in nearly every television market in America. Throughout the network’s history, it has ministered to individuals across the globe, working in 122 different languages and also launching special broadcast efforts in the former Soviet Union that led to the establishment of nearly 200 new churches.

Today, The 700 Club is one of the longest-running programs in American television history, and CBN continues its mission by providing an informative and entertaining variety of programming to its viewers.
