Sheila R. Vitale is a pastor and teacher who founded Living Epistles Ministries (LEM) and Christ-Centered Kabbalah (CCK) in 1988 and 2000, respectively. The author of over a dozen books, Sheila R. Vitale utilizes a Judeo-Christian lens to promote and teach the ways of God. Ms. Vitale has donated to a number of nonprofit organizations through LEM and CCK, one of which is the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN).
At the time of its inception more than 50 years ago, CBN, founded by Pat Robertson, was the only Christian television station in the US. Nowadays, the nonprofit network is available in nearly 150 countries, and its programs are typically translated into more than 60 languages, including Spanish, Turkish, Mandarin, and Welsh.
CBN’s longest-running and most well-known television program is “The 700 Club,” which originally developed as a telethon in 1963 in order to raise money. Since 1966, CBN has regularly broadcast “The 700 Club,” which currently reaches a daily audience of approximately one million people.
