WORLD VISION PREPARES FOR 2017 GLOBAL 6K FOR WATER IN MAY

Sheila R. Vitale serves as the founder of Living Epistles Ministries, a teaching ministry that provides free Christian literature through lending libraries in the United States, Europe, and Africa. Sheila Vitale also supports World Vision, which will participate in the 2017 Global 6K for Water in May.

World Vision welcomes staff and volunteers to join its Team World Vision and engage in a 6-kilometer race to provide clean drinking water for communities in Africa. One of the largest nongovernmental providers of clean water, World Vision focuses on comprehensive and sustainable water project solutions. Every $50 collected enables the organization to deliver clean water for another individual.

The Global 6K for Water supports World Vision’s water projects, and registration fees go directly toward water initiatives. In order to participate, registrants may either gather at a host site or map out a 6K route in their own neighborhood. Participants may register as an individual, form a team, or join an existing one. Additionally, those who cannot participant may donate in the name of a participating friend or family member.
