HOW CHILD SPONSORSHIP THROUGH WORLD VISION WORKS
The founder of both Living Epistles Ministries and Christ-Centered Kabbalah, Sheila R. Vitale is a pastor and teacher who has published over 1,000 audio lectures through the former company. Away from her work, Sheila Vitale offers her support to a number of charities, including World Vision.
Founded in 1950, World Vision is a Christian charity focused on providing aid and development opportunities to those in need. One of its principal methods of doing this is through its child sponsorship program, which includes the following steps.
- Select the child you wish to sponsor using the information on World Vision’s website. Sponsors typically receive their first letter from the sponsored child with 12 weeks.
- The sponsorship money you send is used to provide your chosen child with support and educational opportunities, in addition to enriching the surrounding community.
- World Vision staff and volunteers work tirelessly to stretch the money sent by sponsors further, with a focus on bringing communities and the children within them out of poverty.
