Understanding Christ-Centered Kabbalah
The founder and pastor of Living Epistles Ministries and Christ-Centered Kabbalah, Sheila R. Vitale has published over 20 books and more than 1,000 audio lectures on spiritual topics. In her work with Christ-Centered Kabbalah, Sheila Vitale focuses particularly on Lurian Kabbalah, the Zohar and revealing the principles of Kabbalah that are hidden in the text of the New Testament.
Christ-Centered Kabbalah involves the combination of two separate philosophies of thought: Lurian Kabbalah and the Doctrine of Christ.
Kabbalah is a tradition that comes from a word meaning “given by tradition” and refers to the traditions passed on by several rabbis regarding the text known as the Zohar. Lurian Kabbalah in particular refers to the Kabbalah tradition as taught by Rabbi Isaac Luria, who lived in the 16th century and provided influential symbolic interpretations of the Zohar.
In seeking to unite the tradition of Lurian Kabbalah with the Doctrine of Christ, Christ-Centered Kabbalah applies these principles to an understanding of the Christian New Testament. This synthesis of thought results in a fresh avenue for seeking the restoration of man's highest state and spiritual ascension or rectification.
