Praise the Lord, we are beginning the third part of a series of messages concerning Abraham and Lot, the first message was "A Wondrous Edifice" which gave us a spiritual background for this study, the second message is "The Secret Of Sodom And Gomorrah", this is the third message called "Abraham & Lot", in which I hope to reveal to you the true reason for the separation between Lot and Abraham. The parable that we read about in the King James translation makes a lot of sense on the surface, but I suggest to you that the true reason for the separation is very similar to what happened between Cain and Abel, in that Abraham was given male authority over Lot and Lot was not willing to submit to that authority.
The result of this conflict was that Lot separated from Abram, and in fact this is God's solution to such a conflict. I have seen many ministries where there was a God appointed head and a God appointed assistant, the assistant could not submit to the head or his pride was so high that he wanted more authority than God was giving him, and the Lord's solution is, well the first solution is that the one who should be in submission submit, if that person refuses to submit, then a separation must come, because whoever is heading up a work for the Lord, cannot be constantly being challenged and opposed by someone who is given to assistance, at some point the Lord will bring a separation. Praise the Lord.
This is the most interesting study, every aspect of it that has been taught so far is something that I can relate to, I can relate an aspect of my ministry and experience that I had to what is being taught, and what that says to me, is that what we are talking about is common to all men in the ministry, all ministries called of God, will find these situations in the ministry, these problems, these situations, the whole crux of the message is that there is a bridegroom company which has male authority and the rest of the church is the bride. The bride is supposed to submit to the bridegroom, the problem is that the bride company does not understand that there is a bridegroom company in the flesh, okay and they are only willing to submit to a spiritual manifestation of Christ, which is really the Holy Spirit, they only know the Holy Spirit, they do not understand that Christ comes in other men.
This series of messages that we are preaching is designed to prepare the church for the next phase of God's ministry which is salvation, which is deliverance from hell and death, and the next phase of God's ministry to mankind and to the church is to bring forth a male company, a bridegroom company and to have the bride company recognize the bridegroom company, this is what is happening today, because the seed of life are the potential to mature into immortality in the flesh is in the male seed. The female seed alone cannot produce immortality and cannot deliver us from hell and death, only the male seed can do that.
We see even here at the beginning of chapter 12, because we just completed translating chapter 14, which ends with the, well it is really funny, we should have started, the carnal mind or the logic of the carnal mind would say, that we should have started with chapter 12, and then did chapter 13, and then did chapter 14, but we started with chapter 14, we are now going to do an exhortation on chapter 12, and we are going to do some translations in chapter 13, I do not know if we will do the whole chapter.
We found out that chapter 14 ended and of course chapter 14 comes after Lot separates from Abraham and goes to dwell in Sodom, we find Lot captured by the Canaanite kings, and Abram going to deliver him, and after that deliverance, we see Abram offering Lot the male seed, saying Lot, here take the male seed, this will not happen to you anymore, if you have the male seed, and Lot says, No thank you, I am very happy with the Pentecostal Holy Ghost anointing, and I do not want to go on to manhood, it is just too hard, I do not want my sins exposed, and I do not want to have to confess them.
At the end of this series called "The Secret Of Sodom And Gomorrah", we then translated the first four verses of chapter 15 which revealed that Abraham being childless considered Lot his son, and I want to tell you maybe you knew this but I did not know it, that when the Scripture says that Abram left or that even Terah left with Abram and Nahor's son Lot, I never, I think the question did enter my mind, why did they take Nahor's son Lot with them, the answer is that Abram was childless, and it was understood in those days that you who had a fertile wife would give your oldest son to your brother that he should have a son. Lot went along with Abram as his son.
In those days people had so many children that, that is what you did, if your brother was childless you gave him one of your children, now did you know that? I did not know that, but this appears to be the concept that is emerging from this study, that is why Lot was present, with Abraham, he was his son, and we found this out in the alternate translation in chapter 14, and the first four verses of chapter 15, that Abraham said to Jehovah, look at this son that you have given me, I have no seed of my own, and this son does not want to accept the office that you are offering him, in other words, he worthless, and so I have no natural son and the adopted son that I have, my brother's son, is not willing to do his duty. We see that, that conflict that was revealed in the message called "The Secret Of Sodom and Gomorrah" is initially appearing in chapter 13, in the conflict that arises between Abram and Lot, and I am here today to show you in chapters 13 and 12, that the true Genesis of that conflict, is that Jehovah gave Abram male authority, and Lot was subordinate to Abram, and even though Abram was Lot's uncle, Lot was not willing to accept this.
I have seen such a conflict arise when the Lord takes two people, I know that when the Lord raised me up in authority, I was just an average person in the church, well actually in a hind sight, I was not just an average person in the church, I now understand that I was the second in command, spiritually I was the second in command in the church that I was raised up in, but nobody recognized it, or maybe if people recognized it, it was not officially recognized because actually it was a member of that congregation that told me after I left, Sheila you were second in command to pastor, and I had trouble believing it for a while, but eventually I did believe it, I never understood it while I was there, I know that I prayed for a lot of people, and I mentored a lot of people but I never saw myself as second in command, and there never was an assistant pastor that took the office, that person just never seemed to manifest, so neither the pastor nor I realized that it was me, but as far as I was concerned, I was just an average person in the church when the Lord separated me from that ministry, and raised up this ministry. I did not realize that I had a special call on my life at that time.
There were people who in that fellowship with me that greatly resented that God gave me male authority, that God gave me ministry and not them. What I am trying to say is that I could see it, if you take two people out of a church that appear to be equal and the Lord gives one person male authority, and not the other, I could see the envy raising up, but in this case, Lot was Abram's nephew, so Lot was of an elder generation, wherefore I have trouble comprehending Lot's attitude, okay. Perhaps as we go on the Lord will explain that to me because I think I am missing some information here. In any event, this is the message that is emerging, that Jehovah gave Abram male authority and Lot remained with a female authority, God gave Abraham the Christ authority and Lot remained with the Pentecostal authority, God gave Abram the bridegroom company and He gave Lot the bride company, and Lot could not deal with that to the point that he departed from Abram to his own hurt, because if the Lord assigns you to a fellowship where the pastor has the male anointing, in my opinion only foolishness, only a spirit of foolishness which is pride, would make you choose to depart from the male anointing to go out on your own to have a female anointing, no matter how glorious that Pentecostal which is the female anointing is, why would anyone walk away from the male anointing other than because their pride refuses to submit to the authority, and/or their pride refuses to have their sins exposed, in the name of Jesus.
I am going to do an exhortation Lord willing on chapter 12 and then we will do some translation in chapter 2 unless the Lord tells me to do otherwise. Are there any questions before we start on this issue? There is a very heavy anointing here today, I just started preaching and I am barely preaching with my eyes open, actually my eyes are probably three quarters closed, so I am going to do the best I can here. For those who have never heard this before, this is the male anointing, the female anointing, the Holy Ghost comes in and sets your feet a dancing and gets you all excited, but the anointing of the son comes in, it is that cloud that came into the temple after Solomon completed it, and we are told that the Levite priests were stretched out, they could not even get up, because of the anointing, that is the anointing that is here in this ministry, and it has never knocked me down yet, but it closes my eyes and tries very hard to put me to sleep.
Praise the Lord, so we are going to start with chapter 12:1, "Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house unto a land that I will show thee." Let me tell you this, this, and I believe this is true of the whole Scripture, actually but it is certainly true of chapter 12 of Genesis, some of the verse are obviously in the natural, but can also have a spiritual connotation or a spiritual translation, some of the verses could, if you are just willing to look at it, can easily be construed to be spiritual, and what does spiritual mean? It means of the mind, okay. Some verses are more easily discernable as spiritual than others, and I will do my best to show you what the Lord has shown me. Starting with verse 1 of chapter 12 of Genesis, I want to suggest to you that what the Lord is saying to Abram would not necessarily mean a physical country. "Now the Lord said to Abram, Get thee out of thy country...", brethren, we need to know that, and I do not have my Interlinear Text in front of me, but that, that word country is probably a translation of the word that means land, and our spiritual being inhabits the land of this physical body, also our spirit man inhabits the land of our carnal mind which is the earth.
I was watching another preacher on TV the other day, and actually the message, I did not witness to the message at all, but the man said one thing that the Lord spoke to me instantly about, the man used a Scripture that I have been hearing for years and never really knew the answer to, "...absent from the body, present with the Lord", and it is a Scripture that most preachers will use to justify this concept of going to heaven after the death of the body. The Lord spoke to me instantly and He said, absent from the body of the spirit, the body of the spirit is the mind, absent from the carnal mind and you are instantly in the presence of the Lord which is the mind of Christ, that when you are in the mind of Christ you are absent from the carnal mind. The second you focus on something that with the mind of Christ, the minute you focus on doctrine or any issue where you are using the mind of Christ, you are instantly out of the body, what body? The body of death. Did not Paul talk about the body of death, did he not say, woe unto me, who will deliver me from this body of death? Did he mean his physical body? Maybe, did he mean his carnal mind? Maybe. The minute we leave our carnal mind behind, and are using our Christ mind, we are absent from the body and present with the Lord. We are present with the Lord the second we implement the mind of Christ, you do not have to die to the physical body to present with the Lord. I am present with the Lord all of the time, He never leaves me. We walk hand in hand through life together. Why do you think that I have to physically die to be present with the Lord? It is just a carnal concept. What I am trying to tell you is that I believe that the Lord said to Abram in verse 1 of chapter 12, Get out of that carnal mind that you have inherited from your kindred, that all of your kindred think with, and that they think within your father's house, and get into a land or a mind that I will show you.
Brethren, every change that happens in our life starts with a change of mind. You cannot even leave a country if you are talking about a physical country without first deciding to go. The first thing the Lord said to Abram was, You have got to get out of your carnal mind, I have great things for you, but you must leave your carnal mind and all of the thoughts and reasoning of that carnal mind behind.
It is your carnal thoughts and usually if not always, I will not be bold enough to say always, but usually your carnal mind is the carnal mind that you inherited from your family, you think the way your family thinks, and Jehovah said to Abram, Look, I have got great things for you, but you have got to get out of that carnal mind, the same carnal mind that your kindred think with, that is present and inherited from your father's house, and you have got to move into the mind of Christ which has an entirely different thought process which is going to make you an alien in your own family, going to make you a stranger, the only one thinking that way in your family.
If you want to inherit the great things that I have for you, you are going to have to face this, and you are going to have to overcome, because there is no way you are going to enter into what I have for you when you are still in your carnal mind, you will never make it, probably will not even take the first step.
Verse 2, Jehovah speaking to Abram, "And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great and you shall be a blessing." Everybody knows that Scripture, if you are willing to change your mind. Of course inherent in that simple little statement in the King James, Get out of this country and away from your kindred and out of your father's house, could involve a whole lifetime of finding out how to distinguish between the thoughts of your carnal mind and the Christ mind, how to recognize the two different minds, the thoughts of the two different minds, the attitudes of the two different minds, how to overcome the witchcraft power that is present in your carnal mind, because you cannot just say, alright, I reject my carnal mind and accept the Christ mind, Satan the unconscious part of the carnal mind will fight you tooth and nail. This one little verse, we are talking about a lifetime of learning the devices of the carnal mind which are represented by Satan and Leviathan the unconscious and subconscious part, of understanding them, of distinguishing between that mind and your Christ mind and of learning how to war against that carnal mind, and of learning how to be victorious over it, and how to actually be victorious over it, in this one little verse, that is what that one little verse is talking about.
That is what Jehovah said to Abraham, Do all of these things, and I am going to make you a blessing, He said, I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. This is the same thing that we read about in the book of Revelation, where Jesus said to the one who overcomes, I will give you all things, you see, but in the Old Testament, in the book of Genesis it is veiled, you see, the true meaning of the verse is hidden, but Jehovah is saying to Abram what Jesus said in the book of Revelation, overcome your carnal mind and you will inherit everything there is to inherit, both in the heaven and in the earth, but it veiled in the Old Testament, and unless someone enlightens you, you think that Jehovah is saying, Get up and leave Port Jefferson, but He is not, He is saying, Get up and leave everything that you have ever believed, Jesus said, You must become as a little child, you have to unlearn everything that you have learned, because when you start thinking with the mind of Christ and you start reasoning withe mind of Christ, you see the simplest aspects of life from a radically different point of view, which changes your whole life, your thinking changes your whole life.
The first thing Jehovah said to Abram was, you have to change your thinking, get up out of that carnal mind and come into my Christ mind and start using my Christ mind, and your whole life outside of you will change, it is an automatic outpouring, a changed life is an automatic outpouring of a changed mental thought process. You can fight like the dickens to change your life, and fail. Some people succeed and actually have success within their grasps, and then lose everything, they get sick or they die, or they lose their mate, their beloved mate or they lose a child or something terrible happens to them, sometimes they lose the money, sometimes they do not, that is why the Scripture promises success and prosperity without sorrow, without sorrow. When God gives it to you, no man can take it away from you, prosperity across the board, physical prosperity, spiritual prosperity, emotional prosperity, intellectual prosperity, and material prosperity.
If I had to choose, material prosperity would be last, if it meant, well let me say it another way, spiritual prosperity is the most important thing, and then intellectual prosperity because you need intellectual prosperity to be spiritually prosperous, and you need your physical health, because no matter how spiritually and intellectually prosperous you are, if your body is sick it is a definite hindrance.
All of these things are the most important thing and material prosperity will grow out of them, to have the material prosperity without the spiritual, intellectual, and physical prosperity, as long as I have enough money to live on, I would rather do without it, if I have a choice. Praise the Lord. This is what Jesus is trying to tell us when He says, Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all of these things will be added unto you. It is your heart, it is your motive, if the motive for life is seeking the things of God, and only God knows if that is true, some day you will be a very wealthy person who will also be healthy, whose family will be healthy, who will have healthy relationships, you will spiritually brilliant and intellectually brilliant, and a great force for good, representing the Lord Jesus Christ in the earth. I do not know how long it is going to take, it could take a whole generation, but that is the promise, if you truly seek the kingdom of God first, some day you will be a very, very rich man without sorrow, but how many people actually do it, they do not, very few.
Verse 3, so we see in verse1, Jehovah said to Abraham, you have got to get out of your carnal mind and get into your Christ mind and I am going to make you a blessing and you will be blessed and I am going to make you a great nation. Verse 3, "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee, and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." Not only are you going to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and socially adept giant, and you are going to be a very wealthy person, you are going to have many descendants, not all of which will be from your physical body, but anyone who is such a great man will surely have disciples and produce spiritual offspring, will represent their nature in many disciples who come to them. "...and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee, and in thee all families of the earth shall be blessed." Abraham, you who are the high father, the blessed of God, out of you is going to come forth the saviors of the earth, because peoples of the earth are dying because of ignorance and because of a lack of a relationship with God, they do not know it but that is why we have all of the troubles in the world, and Abraham you are the high father, you are the beginning of the nations that will bring forth the saviors that will restore all of mankind back to his first estate, because of course mankind is fallen Adam the first Adam who fell and died.
Verse 4, "So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken unto him, and Lot went with him and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran." I think there is a mixture in this verse, so what I want to suggest to you here, is that Abraham physically departed out of Haran, he took Lot as his own son and his wife and they physically departed at seventy five years of age, but I want to suggest to you that he did not go where Jehovah told him to go, I do not see any Scripture, we just read the first three verses where Jehovah told him where to go. He said, Get thee out of here and out of thy country, and from thy father's house into a land that I will show you. Then in verse 4, it says, "and then Abraham departed", but did you hear Jehovah tell him where to go? I did not hear Jehovah tell him where to go. It is the same, you see brethren, there is nothing new under the sun, it is the same situation as David wanting to build a house for the Lord. David had heard in the spirit that there was going to be a house built for the Lord, and the Lord had to send a prophet to David and say, No, you are not the one that is going to build the house, you are a bloody man, you shed too much blood, your son is going to be the one that is going to build the house. Then of course most people think that Solomon built the house, but Solomon, David's son, just built the physical type of the spiritual house that Jesus is Christ is building for Jehovah.
Jehovah is a spirit, Jehovah went to David and said, Who do you think you are? What house do you think you can build that is going be great enough for me? Jesus Christ glorified, He is the one that is building the spiritual house, and the human beings that house the Spirit of Christ are the many mansions in which this one great spirit of almighty God lives. It is the same thing, Jehovah said to Abram, Get up and go, and Abram's carnal mind told him where to go because the Lord did not tell him where to go. I wish I had a dollar for everybody that got up and went before the Lord sent them. We hear the Lord saying, Go, but we do not hear the Lord telling us where to go, because we are wanting the call on our life, so we hear the Lord say, Go, but we would like to choose where when and how our ministry is going to play out, so we do not hear the Lord, most of us do not hear the Lord, a lot of us do not hear the Lord and go in a place that He did not send us.
I want to suggest to you that Abraham started to walk before he knew where he was going, or he knew where he was going, he was going where his carnal mind told him to go, right after the Lord said to him, Give up your carnal mind and come into the Christ mind, Abram's carnal mind told him where to go. Brethren, that is absolutely typical for most Christians, absolutely typical, except for very mature Christians. Abram departed as the Lord had spoken unto him, or Abram departed as his carnal mind told him that the Lord had spoken unto him and Lot went with him as his son, and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed from Haran.
Verse 5, "And Abram took Sarai his wife...", so now we know this is definitely in the natural because we see that Abraham's wife has a personal name. "And Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran, and they went forth to go in to the land of Canaan, and into the land of Canaan they came." I have had various ideas of what that meant, and they gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran, but today I want to suggest to you as we continue to receive the education of the Lord and in particular from the work of the Gate of Reincarnations, I want to suggest to you that the souls that they had acquired in Haran, okay, was the Nephesh of God, and additional soul that was given to them when Jehovah spoke to them.
When Jehovah makes you a promise and He says to you, Get up out of your country and get away from your kindred and your father's house and I will make a great nation of you and bless you and everyone that you bless will be blessed, Jehovah does not do that without giving you the equipment that you need to accomplish it, so in that very call that was spoken unto Abraham, there was imparted to Abraham a new Nephesh, a new soul, a soul that would enable Abram to go forth and do what the Lord wanted him to do. The way the teaching has come forth as we have taught the Gate of Reincarnations, that new soul is called the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the Nephesh of the glorified Jesus Christ, that is the new soul that believers get, the female seed, the beginning of what they need for Adam to be regenerated in them, within them.
Before Jesus Christ was glorified, what new soul did Abram receive? I do not know, well I can only guess off hand, you know, this, according to the understanding of what I have right now, Michael the archangel is the one who is incarnating, he is the foundation, the spiritual foundation of the creation of God, he is the breath that Jehovah breathed into the earth to make the living soul, and Michael is the one who incarnated as Enoch, and ultimately incarnated as Moses and Elijah, and then Jesus. Michael, each time he incarnates with a new personality, he acquires that personality as a wife or as a garment and takes the name of the latest personality that he is incarnated in.
Based on this knowledge that the Lord has given me, I would say the new soul that was imparted to Abram and Lot, and I am not really sure about Sarai, but probably Sarai too, that is how she was able to conceive, the new soul, the new Nephesh, and this Hebrew word that is translated souls is Nephesh, the Nephesh that were imparted to these three, came from Enoch, based on all of the knowledge that I have, I would have to draw that conclusion, and I ask the Lord to correct me if I am wrong. They received the soul, a higher soul, a higher Nephesh, that came from Enoch who was glorified, now they have two Nepheshot, the one that they were born with, which was not doing them any good, the Nephesh that we are born with can never get us out of hell and death, we have to receive a whole new soul, starting with a Nephesh from someone who has already overcome, and Enoch was the one who had already overcome.
Abram, Lot, and Sarai received a new Nephesh, as Jehovah spoke those words to them giving the call to Abram, they all received a new Nephesh of the glorified Enoch, that which they needed to fulfill what Jehovah had commanded them to do. The Lord will never ask you to do something and then not equip you to do it. Praise the Lord. They went into Canaan, the land of the Canaanites.
Verse 6, "And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Shechem, unto the plain of Moreh, and the Canaanite was then in the land." You know I want to suggest to you that this, this verse hides a spiritual truth. The Hebrew root of the word "Shechem", whenever it comes to these geographical names, sometimes you have to go back two or three words to find the actual root, the root of this word translated "Shechem" which is geographical location is "neck", and I want to suggest to you that it is taking about the, the neck is the back of the throat, and we know that the throat is an energy center. Abram passed through the land unto level of the throat energy center unto the plain of Moreh. And the plain means a strong oak tree, we had that same word when we translated Genesis 14, and we found out that Abram was dwelling in the strong oak tree of Mamre, the Ammorite, and also we are taught that what that means is that Abram's soul, as a male soul was dwelling in the soul or in one of the energy centers of Mamre the Ammorite, that they had a spiritual marriage, that Abraham was the spiritual male and his soul or his personality had penetrated into Mamre the Ammorite and was raising up a similar nature of the anointed one, we would say of Christ in Mamre, that Abraham was imparting to Mamre everything that he had received from Jehovah, the nature and character that he had received from Jehovah, and that they had a spiritual marriage, and that spiritually speaking, Abraham was indwelling and living in Mamre the Ammorite as a man dwells in his wife. Praise the Lord.
Abram passed through the land of Shechem, which is the neck energy center, or the neck which is behind the throat energy center, and he went unto the plain of Moreh, he went into the oak or the strong tree of Moreh, and Moreh means early rain. We know that there is an early rain and there is the latter rain. The early rain is usually associated with the Pentecostal outpouring. Abraham ascended to the level of the throat energy center and he experienced a manifestation of what today we would call Pentecost. Praise the Lord.
Verse 7, "And the Lord appeared unto Abram and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land, and there builded he an altar unto the Lord who appeared unto him." I suggest to you verse 7 is spiritual, that the true meaning is spiritual. Abram passed through this land, what land? The land of the throat energy center, because Abram is ascending. Brethren, everything about the life as the Christian as well as the Jew who is practicing, is supposed to be a continuous ongoing journey of self-improvement, and this continuous ongoing journey of self-improvement is typified by Jacob's ladder, and as we improve, we are ascending spiritually, as we overcome our emotional, intellectual, and social defects, we are ascending into the exalted nature of God. In our case, we would say, the glorified Jesus Christ.
I preach to Jews as well as I preach to Christians, I try to do it both ways, if you are listening to my messages or reading my transcripts and you still do not believe that Jesus Christ is God, well that is okay, if you are getting blessed by this message, our continuous ongoing ascension into the nature of God, that is what life of a true believer is, a recognition, the Christians would say that you are a sinner, okay, the Jews would say a recognition, that we have to be rectified, and a continuous ongoing striving to be more and more like God every day, that is the sign of a true believer, and anyone who is not living like this, is a Jew or a Christian in name only.
Abram, from the day that Jehovah spoke to him and called him, Abram began his ascent, he began his ascent and we see that he ascended but where he most likely started from was the third energy center which is the belly, Paul talks about the belly where all of the appetites are. Brethren, the average human being lives in his appetites, we all need food, we all need social interaction, most people need a healthy sex life, you do not have to need it, if you have, if you are in a different direction, usually if you are serving God like me, but most people have an appetite for a healthy sex life within marriage, and that is what most of the world is involved in, they go to work so that they can eat and feed their family, and clothe and house their family, and they have social, affectionate social interactions, and sex, that is the average person, they labor so that their appetites can be satisfied in a healthy way, is that not true? That is what the life of this world is.
There is another life, there is a spiritual life where you labor so that your spirit can be satisfied and so that the Spirit of God can dwell in you and be satisfied, we labor to feed the spirit that dwells in us by engaging in spiritual activities, a mind, so Abraham began his ascent and he passed through the land of Canaan, well that one little phrase, that Abraham passed through the land, and it does not even say Canaan, that could be a whole lifetime of warfare with the Canaanites, and we find out in chapter 14 which we have already translated, that the Canaanite kings were continuously attacking the Sodomites and the Gomorrahites, who contrary to public opinion, had contact with the so called Pentecostal anointing that Lot brought to them when he departed and took up residence in Sodom. Abram passed through the land of Canaan, there could be a whole lifetime of warfare with the Canaanites in your mind, in your flesh, and in the mind and flesh of the people that Satan sends to oppose you, all that in that one little phrase that does not even say Canaan, and Abram passed through the land, and he came to a place called Shechem, he finally passed through the land, he passed through his belly energy center, and he ascended all the way up to the throat center, and he experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Verse 7, "And in that place", in his throat center, now this is a place of mind, it is a place of mind, it has to do with the way you think, and the way you look at things that happen to you, it has to do with reactions that you have to events that are transpiring, when he was in that place, what place? Where Abram was thinking like God thinks, where Abram was seeing like God sees, where Abram was reacting to events the way God reacts to events, when Abram was in that place, not in his carnal mind, when Abram was in that place, the mind of God, the Lord appeared to Abram. You never hear from God, you want to hear from God, but you never hear from God, you want to see God but you never see God? I will tell you why you never hear from God and you never see God, it is because you are not in that place, it is because, and I am not criticizing anybody, I am trying to help you here, I am not picking on you, I am telling you why you never hear from God or you do not hear from Him as much as you would like to, it is because you are not where He is, you are not in that place where you think like God, you are not in that place where God's priorities are the top priorities in your life, you are not in that place, again I am not criticizing you, I am answering a question for you, if you want to see God, if you want to hear God, if you want to walk with God, if you want to fellowship with God, you have to go up to where He is, where He is in your life, He is not expecting you to be a spiritual giant overnight, but within your sphere of influence, you have to ascend to where He is.
You may remember from our studies of the Gate of Reincarnations, that every level of Sefirot has within it ten sub-sefirot, can you follow me with that at all? Do you remember that at all? No matter how low down you may be spiritually, wherever you are, and whatever name you want to give it, within that place, there is a subset of Sefirot that goes from Malchut up to the Keter, and you will find God in the Keter of the level where you are. God is in hell as well as in heaven, but He is in the higher centers of the hell that you are in, does that make any sense to you at all?
According to this Scripture, you do not even have to be in the Keter, He is in the throat center, He found God in the throat center. It is not that it is, my whole point is, it is not impossible for you to get to where God is, I am not telling you that you have to jump five rungs on the ladder to find God, right in the subset where you are right now, you can ascend to a place where you can hear God on some level, does anyone not understand what I am telling you? And if you do not know how to do it, all you have to do is confess to the Lord, that you now have an understanding of why you are not closer to Him, now you were just taught today why you do not hear from Him more, why you do not see Him more, and you do not know how to change, but you want Him to change you, and if your heart is true, He will honor you. Praise the Lord.
Abram passed through the land of Canaan, and he came to neck energy center, and he experienced the outpouring of something very similar to what we would call the Holy Spirit, or the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and it is the early rain of Moreh. "And the Canaanite was then in the land." Abram did it with Satan attacking him every step of the way. You will not have it without a fight, you see, everything God gives you, He gives you and He gives you the power to retain if you will fight, but if you will not fight, it is possible for you to lose it. He gives it to you but He does not say, I am giving it to you and I am not going to stop Satan from trying to take it away. You have to fight to keep it.
Verse 7, "And the Lord appeared unto Abram and said, Unto your seed will I give this land." Remember Abraham thought his seed was Lot, "Unto your seed will I give this land. And there buildeth he an altar unto the Lord who appeared unto him." From other studies in Genesis 14 and 15, I believe Abraham thought Lot was his seed, okay. "And the Lord appeared unto Abram and said unto him, I am going to give this land to Lot. This spiritual land is the mind of Christ, you see, that is why Abram expected Lot to receive the same anointing that he had. You may recall when we translated the first four verses of Genesis 15, Abram was depressed, saying, Lord this is the seed that you gave me, an adopted seed, and he just refused the promised seed, this is the female seed you have given me, and he has refused the promised male seed which the great promises that you made to me are going to be carried on.
Abram misunderstood God. Lot was not the seed that Jehovah was talking about, who was the seed, does anybody know? Who was the seed? Yes?
COMMENT: Jesus Christ.
PASTOR VITALE: Jesus the Christ, Jesus of Nazareth who was the Christ was the seed, who appeared in the earth long after Abraham passed out of the land. Abram could not comprehend that many thousands of years in the future. Do we not all make the same mistake? You know, I do not know about you, but I know a mistake that I make a lot, I hope I stop making it, I am making it less and less, and this has to do with thinking with the mind of God, is that we think that what God promises us is going to happen today or tomorrow. When I was a young Christian and the Lord told me that I was going to be teacher, I went running into the church the next day expecting my pastor to give me the microphone and I was very disappointed when it did not happen, it was years later that the Lord put a microphone in my hands.
Sometimes His promises take and years and years and sometimes they are not fulfilled until future generations, as we see with this promise to Abram, and also let us not forget, let us try to be very mature in our understanding right now, and let us not forget that it is possible for almighty God if He chooses to do it, to fulfill His promise to us in another incarnation, in another incarnation.
We, in a future incarnation may have no memory of who we were in a past incarnation, but when God talks to a man, He is talking to your spiritual root, He is talking to your Fiery Serpent, the worm that dieth not in you. The promise is made to your spiritual root. The Lord may fulfill His promise in your lifetime, or in the lifetime of your son where your son may remember that Jesus promised it to your father, but He may not, He may fulfill His promise to you multiple generations in the future when it is the same Fiery Serpent that is in you that is reincarnated in another person. How did I get to be who I am, where do I get this revelation from? No one in my family has anything to do with this, where did this come from? I must be the fulfillment of a promise that was made to some ancestor that I never even knew, maybe that answer was Abraham, I do not know. Where did this come from? I see generations of preachers, your father is a great preacher, then your son is preaching, moves into the ministry already established, I am not knocking that, how did I get here, who am I , where did this come from? Some promise made to somebody generations ago, if you can hear it, if you can hear it, it will help you if something is happening in your life right now where Satan, your carnal mind has you thinking that God did not keep His word to you, you should know that Satan is a liar, that is impossible for God to lie, but the Lord may fulfill His promise in a future generation to your reincarnated mortal foundation, if you can hear it, be comforted. Praise the Lord.
The Lord appeared to Abram because Abram was in the mind of Christ or in the mind of God, and said, Unto your seed which we now know to be Christ, will I give this land, what land? This mind of Christ or this mind of God and there builded he, builded who? And there builded he an altar unto the Lord, there Abram builded an altar unto the Lord who had appeared to him. I do not know about you, but I am studying this Bible for twenty seven, twenty eight years and I always thought that Abram took some stones and sticks and build an altar, and maybe he did, but maybe he did not. If you look up the word that means altar, the Hebrew word that is translated altar, and you look at the foundations of the word, it means a place of slaughter, that is what the Levite priest did at the altar, they slaughtered the animals that were sacrifices, and which is the animal, what is our spiritual sacrifice? Does anybody remember this? This is the subject "Not Without Blood", brethren we need two sacrifices, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ gives us entrance to the temple, gives us access to God, gives us reconciliation to God, and the privilege of having this spiritual program of reconstruction, but to actually interact with God, we must slaughter our carnal mind, because the Lord, even though you are reconciled to God by faith in Jesus Christ, the Lord will not talk to you, He will not have a person to person face to face relationship with you if you are in your carnal mind, and we just established that.
When Abraham got to that place of the mind of God, the Lord appeared to him, I just spent five or ten minutes on that, so you could do to church every day, you could speak in tongues, you can dance in the spirit, you can cast out demons, but if you are in your carnal mind, the Lord is not appearing to you, and you have not built an altar. An altar is where the Spirit of God comes down to consume the sacrifice. When you reject your carnal mind, and ascend into your Christ mind or into the mind of God within you and if the carnal mind dies, for that moment, the carnal mind, just like Christ dies and rises again, the Serpent raises him up every time you kill her. When you slaughter your carnal mind for the purpose of ascending into the Christ mind, the Scripture says, the parable says, and it went up like a sweet smelling savor unto God, that is the energy of your carnal mind which is Satan. When you crush your carnal mind, the energy is released, when you crush your physical body or a physical animal, the blood pours out, when you crush a spiritual animal, the spiritual blood which is energy, pours out.
When you crush and slaughter your carnal mind for the purpose of ascending into the mind of Christ, the spiritual blood pours out, and the spiritual blood of your carnal mind is Satan, and the glorified Jesus Christ or Jehovah comes down and feasts on that energy, acquires that energy, the Christ in you acquires that energy. That is the same message that I taught for years, saying, you boil Satan and you separate, the sediment stays on the bottom and the spiritualized vapor is acquired by Christ, I taught that for years.
Right there in that place of his carnal mind, what I want to suggest to you happened here is that Jehovah imparted to Abram an imputed mind of God, that Jehovah came as a gift to Abram, and stepped on his carnal mind so that a mind of Christ or a mind of God would be formed so that Abram could hear from God and yes or no, I accept this covenant with you. It is the same thing or very similar to Elijah coming to the prophets of Baal, and crushing their carnal mind and when Elijah did that, the prophets of Baal, which were the men of Israel who were worshiping their carnal mind, when Elijah put his hand over their carnal mind, they rose up and slaughtered their carnal mind, Christ arose in them, and slaughtered their carnal mind, but as soon as Elijah took his hand away, and now the Hebrew Israelites were in their Christ mind, but when Elijah withdrew his hand, the sins of the Israelites were so great that they could not stay in the Christ mind on their own recognizance. The same thing happened to Elisha, Elijah had been covering over the carnal mind of Elisha, and when Elijah was glorified, Elisha lost control of his carnal mind and it rose up to slay Christ in him, but the glorified Elijah came down from heaven, or from the higher spiritual plane and rescued Elisha, we have a series of messages on that too.
This is what happened here, Jehovah came to Abram, and covered over his carnal mind and gave Abram an imputed mind of God, and when the Scripture says that Abram built an altar, what it means is, that Abram heard the offer from Jehovah and slaughtered his own carnal mind. How do you slaughter your own carnal mind? He confessed the sins of his carnal mind, acknowledged that the thoughts of his carnal mind were inferior to the thoughts of God, and chose to acquire and to ascend to and to abide in the mind of God.
We see that Abraham took a victory that the Israelites on Mount Carmel did not take, also we see that Abraham took a victory that Elisha did take, and also Peter took that victory, that whole concept of the cock crowing really had to do with Peter being tempted, see after Jesus was glorified and was no longer in the earth, Jesus was holding down the carnal minds of all of his disciples with Jesus now gone, Cain entered into Peter's mind to seduce him and to bring him down out of his Christ mind, but at that very moment of crisis, where Peter most likely would have failed to take the victory over his carnal mind, the cock crow, that was the glorified Jesus coming to stand with Peter to strengthen him against his carnal mind, that is the exact same experience that Elisha had with the glorified Elijah, and we see that in Genesis chapter 12 verse 7, the Lord appeared to Abram, put his hand over Abram's carnal mind and gave him a promise. He said, Look unto your seed I will give this land. Abram said, I slaughter my carnal mind Lord that I might remain in the mind of God, and this is how I honor you, the God who appeared to me.
Brethren, we honor the Lord Jesus Christ by slaughtering our carnal mind, and those of us who stay in our carnal mind, when the Lord comes to us, He comes to us face to face, He comes to us in our dreams, He comes to us through a teacher, and we cleave unto the thoughts of our carnal mind, and refuse to accept and acknowledge and recognize the mind of God, we do dishonor Him. No matter how many demons we cast out and no matter how many people we have prayed for, no matter how much money we have given, no matter what words have passed through our mouth, when we cleave to the thoughts of our carnal mind and will not yield to his mind, we do dishonor him, and we therefore reap everything that we have sowed, we reap all of the judgments of the dishonor of God which is the judgments for idolatry, which means we have loved our own selves and our own thoughts more than we have loved God, and the judgment for idolatry brethren is death, at the very least spiritual death and then eventually we do not enter into immortality and die physically. Jesus. Jesus.
Verse 8, "And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent having Bethel on the west and Aion on the east, and there he builded an altar unto the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord." We see that Abram after having this experience, he removed from his carnal mind and he went into the mountain of the Christ mind on the east, and Bethel means the house of God, he entered into the house of God, he entered into the mind of God, the house of the Spirit of God is the mind of God, the mind is the house of the spirit.
Abraham moved into the house or the household of God, who are the household of God, the household of God are those believers who abide in the thought process of God which is called the mind of Christ. If you are in your carnal mind you are not a member of the household of God. "And he moved into Bethel and pitched his tent having Bethel on the west", and the west is the visible world, "...and Aion on the east", and the east is the eternal world, and I did not look up that word "Aion", so I do not know what it means, "...and there he builded an altar unto the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord."
we see that again this is a spiritual verse, verse 8, that in verse 7, the Lord covered over Abram's carnal mind, gave Abram an imputed mind of God, Abraham understand the Lord by that imputed mind of God, sacrificed his carnal mind, and in verse 8 he removed permanently from the carnal mind into the mind of Christ, in other words, he moved there without Jehovah holding down his carnal mind, it was now an act of will on the part of Abram, and he did by the power of Jehovah, he moved into the mind of God, and he was in the visible world that is the west side with the mind of God and in the east he was present in the eternal world of God, and there he builded his altar unto the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord, he builded an altar where he slaughtered his carnal mind, and he called upon the name of the Lord, that word "called" can also mean the honor and distinction of God.
What that whole verse 8 means is that Abram began if not a hundred percent, a large percentage of the time to think with the mind of God. That is what that is talking about, he manifested the honor or the distinction or the character of God in his thoughts. Once again, remember in verse 1, in verse 1 Jehovah is telling him I have great promises for you but you have to come out of your carnal mind. By verse 8, we see that Abram has had a series of experiences and made series of decisions which has resulted in his first of all being offered the mind of God, and accepting that mind of God and then moving into that mind of God.
Verse 9, "And Abram journeyed going on still towards the south." This is interesting, the word "south" means the parched land, and the parched land I suggest to you is the left side of the heart center. We did a lot of teaching on that with the doctrine of Christ saying that the left side of the heart center is the dry land, the land where Satan's sea has been dried up, where Adam has dominion over sin, the left side of the heart center. This is interesting because in verse 6, we see that Abram was in the throat center, which is higher than the heart center, I want to suggest to you that it was Jehovah who caught Abram up to the throat center for the purpose of offering him the opportunity to slaughter his carnal mind and receive and abide in the mind of Christ, but that Abraham did not ascend there under his own power. Praise the Lord, and that when Abraham slaughtered his carnal mind and moved into the mind of God he actually moved into the heart center, I believe the house of God is the heart center which is the fourth energy center.
We see in verse 9, that Abram journeyed going on still towards the south, which is the heart center, now that happened, so verses 8 and 9, I do not know what it looks like in the Interlinear Text, I have not checked it out.
Verse 10, "And there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down into Egpyt to sojourn there, for the famine was grievous in the land." That can be both spiritual and natural, I think it is both spiritual and natural. First of all let me point out to you that God never told Abram to go down to Egypt, there is no, nothing here at all that says, the Lord told Abram to go down to Egypt, now Abram has moved into his Christ mind, the Christ mind, the mind of God is available to him, and once again the mind of Christ is available to a lot of believers that still think with their carnal mind, Abram became a double minded man, so I have to take back something I said a few minutes ago, when I said Abram if not a hundred percent then most of the time in the mind of God, I have to take that back, we see that now Abram has two minds, a Christ mind and a carnal mind, and he has become James' double minded man.
The Lord never told Abram to go down to Egypt, so there is a famine in the land. There must have been a physical famine in that land because we know that Abram took Sarai and had an experience with Pharaoh. Actually, to tell you the truth, well if I was translating or interpreting verse 10 spiritually, I would say that there was a spiritual famine in the land, because here Abram had received the mind of God but he had not yet received the word of God. I do not see anything in these Scriptures that would indicate that Abraham had received any instruction in doctrine, he had received promises, and he had received a mechanism, a spiritual mechanism, which enabled him to understand God when God spoke to him, but there is nothing here that indicates that Abraham had received any wisdom or doctrinal instruction.
We see that he rose up, and brethren does not, is that not what everybody does when they first get the mind of Christ, they continue to live out of their carnal mind, I did it for years, I did not even know that I had the mind of Christ, you see, what we read about, what I just exhorted you on, Abraham setting up and altar, and me saying that, that means that he slaughtered his carnal mind, Abraham might have not have known that he slaughtered his carnal mind. I know that there were many times that I submitted to God, and I yielded to God, but I did not understand that I was slaughtering my carnal mind in order to do it. The Lord made me promises years ago and I did not know that I had to slaughter my carnal mind to say, Amen Lord, I will do anything you want, I just wanted to please God, I wanted all that I could have of God, all that I could get. I did not know that I was killing my carnal mind in order to say yes. Abraham may not even have known at this point that he had two minds and then the Scripture says, there was a famine in the land, Abraham had no doctrine, he did not understand that he had two minds. When you first get the mind of God, he is in an immature state, and your carnal mind is much stronger than that immature mind of God, so Abraham's carnal mind said, Let us go down to Egypt, and the Christ mind or the mind of God within Abram, if he answered, answered in a small voice, that Abram either did not hear, or ignored or did not understand.
I suggest to you that the famine was the famine for the word of God because we do not read anything about their being a famine in Egypt, in the subsequent verses. It says in verse 10, "And there was a famine in the land and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there, to live there, for the famine was grievous in the land. Abraham was lacking doctrine he did not know what to do, he had received the mind of God which is his weapon and his power, but it was still immature and he did not know what he was supposed to do, so he wound up doing the wrong thing. What makes me say he did the wrong thing, why do you say he did the wrong thing Sheila? He wound up turning his wife over to Pharaoh and almost got Pharaoh killed. How could that be the right thing. If Christ was speaking, if the Lord was speaking, you see, let me explain something to you, this whole series of events by which Jehovah imparted something to Abram and communicated to Abram and made a covenant with Abram, it was Jehovah, almighty God outside of Abram, but from the minute we see that Abram slaughtered his carnal mind and said, yes, I receive your covenant Lord, Elohim was imparted to Abram, now God was inside of Abram, so it no longer the voice of God coming from outside of Abram which is very loud, but now it is the God, that is the breath of life that was breathed into you Abram. We are all the earth that is formed into a man and the breath of life is breathed into us, it was Elohim that was breathed into Abram and he became a living soul, creation was manifested in Abram, but that breath of life that was breathed into him was breathed into him in an immature state, and either it was not functioning or Abram could not hear it or Abram heard it and he did not know what it meant, did not understand what had happened to him and did not know how to access the wisdom that was resident within him.
Abraham was thinking when Jehovah speaks to me it is that loud voice that has been speaking to me all along, what is that whisper inside of me, I thought I heard a whisper, that cannot possibly be Jehovah, He has the loud voice that speaks to me clearly from outside of me. There was a famine in the land, Abram had no knowledge, no wisdom no doctrine, he did not know how to access the glory that had been given to him, and he did not even understand that he was not likely to hear the voice outside of him very much anymore. Praise the Lord.
Abram said, Well I am not hearing anything, and of course I am exaggerating when I say that, let me say it another way, Abram's carnal mind spoke up and said, Well why do you not go down to Egypt, and Abram said, Oh, that must be God, sure let us go. I believe he thought he was following God, He just made a covenant and a commitment to Jehovah, so he must have thought this was God telling him to go down to Egypt.
Verse 11, and in verse 10 it says, the famine was grievous, it means it was a severe famine for the word of God, and in the last days we are told in the book of Revelation, there will be a famine for the word of God. Abram is experiencing the whole spectrum from creation through the experiences prophesied in the book of Revelation and I want to tell you that this is the experience that is waiting for all of us. We have to experience having the breath of life breathed into us, and we are going to experience the whole spectrum of experiences that we read about that different people in the Scripture are experiencing.
I meant to mention to you before and I did not, that the conflict between Abram and Lot is the same conflict that existed between Cain and Abel, the same conflict, and we will see further on that Abraham has an experience that can likened to Job's experience. This is what is in my heart today that all of us that truly go on with God, we will experience, we will have the whole spectrum of experiences of all of the heroes of the Scripture that we read about, as we climb the ladder to spiritual ascension. I had this experience many times, I did what my carnal mind told me to do because I did not hear anything from God, so I figured it was a good idea to do what my carnal mind wanted to do. It took me a long time to get the revelation that if you do not hear from God you do not move, because most people cannot stand standing still, they want to do something, that is what happened to Abram. The famine was grievous, the word of God was lacking or he could not hear it or he could not understand it, so he listened to his carnal mind and he went down to Egypt.
Verse 11, "And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, behold now I know that you are a fair woman to look upon, therefore it shall come to pass when the Egyptians shall see you that they shall say this is his wife, and they will kill me but they will save you alive, well this is nothing but fear and pride, pride because it is a lack of faith in God to help you. Does this sound like the mind of God that was just imparted to Abram? Absolutely not, there was a severe famine in the land. Does this look like the nature and the character of God that was imparted to Abram when he called upon the name of the Lord? That means that the nature of God was imparted to Abram, is this it?
Brethren, how many Christians receive the Holy Spirit, answer an altar call, receive faith in God, receive the Holy Spirit and go out and live like the world. This is Abram who just had this great experience, Jehovah personally came to him, covered over his carnal mind, gave him an imputed mind of God, offered him glory, Abram said, Yes Lord. Jehovah left, and Abram is going down to Egypt and selling his wife to save his own skin, can you imagine that? How many times do Christians and sometimes very anointed Christians do things that cause the Gentiles to stumble? They say how can someone who is Christian do things like that? This is the answer, they have everything that God has given them, but they are not living out of it.
Jehovah never sent Abram to Egypt, and Abram on his own, he is experiencing a severe spiritual famine, turns his wife over to Pharaoh, and she went, also lied, say you are my sister, although I think there was something in there that he could really somehow twist it to say she was his sister. "...say you are my sister so that it may be well for my sake and that my soul shall live." If your soul is in danger, what are you going down to Egypt for? Oh you thought the Lord told you to go, it was Satan telling you to go to get you killed before you ever fulfill your promises. He knew he was turning his wife over to whoredom to go and have sex with Pharaoh so that his life should be spared. Most likely his carnal mind was convincing him, well my life has to be spared because I have this great call on my life, and I am going to receive the seed that is going to deliver many nations and be a great blessing to many nations, so I have to live, therefore you have to go become a whore to save my life.
Of course they should not have been there, and again that is his carnal mind's solution to the problem, because most likely Abram cried out and said, Well I am down here in Egypt Lord because you sent me here, and now I am afraid for my life, what should I do? And Abram's carnal mind said, sell your wife, does not that make sense? Sell your wife to Pharaoh and make a whore out of her, pollute the seed, let her pregnant and bring forth a bastard child to pollute the line. Even more than that, have Pharaoh keep her so that she cannot bring forth your child because the plan is Sarai will bring forth Abram's child, so once she had Pharaoh's child she would have never gotten out of there.
Satan sent Abram down to Egypt, Satan put the thought in his mind to be afraid and to turn his wife over to be a whore for the Pharaoh. Listen to this now, Jehovah goes to Pharaoh and says, You better let go of that man's wife. Why did Jehovah tell Abram not to go? Do you really think that Jehovah did not tell Abram not to go, or did Abram not hear Him? Because as soon as Abram slaughtered his carnal mind and said, Amen Lord, as soon as Jehovah departed from Abram, his carnal mind rose to the surface and covered over that seed of Christ, and Abram could not hear the Lord telling him do not go down to Egypt, do not turn your wife over to Pharaoh, she is destined to bring forth Isaac. Abram did not hear Him, we do not hear anything about Sarai hearing Him.
It is funny, in the garden it was the woman that was talking to the Serpent, everybody says, What happened to the man, why did he not say anything? Here we see Abram coming up with this bright idea and Sarai does not say anything. Praise the Lord.
Verse 13, Abram speaking, "Say I pray thee, thou art my sister that it may be well with me for thy sake." For your sake Sarai, let us keep me alive for your sake, and then my soul shall live because of you, so now he is telling Sarai it is in her own best interest that she should become a whore for Pharaoh so that he could stay alive. What is that called, does anybody remember what that is called? When you want somebody to do something to save yourself and you tell them, it is really good for you, do it, it is good for you, what is that called? It is a high manifestation of manipulation, which is pride brethren. Look, I want you to go be a whore for the Pharaoh, do not feel bad about it, it is really in your own best interest. Do you hear this? I want you to go be a whore for the Pharaoh. Oh you do not want to do that, you think that is wrong that a decent woman should not do that? It is in your best interest to do it, because if you do not do it they will kill me and then where will you be? If that is not convoluted thinking.
This is Abram, this is the father of many nations, this is the man that just received these great and glorious promises of God and the ability to manifest the character of God, manifesting the exact opposite of the character of God, because as soon as Jehovah withdrew from Abram, his carnal mind rose up and covered over the seedling young mind of God that had been imparted to him.
Verse 14, "And it came to pass that when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair, the princes also of Pharaoh saw her and commended her before Pharaoh and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house." Abram said, Bye honey, have a good time. Great guy huh? "And he entreated Abram, well for her sake, so Abram was living off of the land." Do you know what, brethren, do you know what that makes Abram? Do you know, his wife is sleeping with the Pharaoh and Abram is being treated well because of it, there is a word for that, do you know what the word is? It is pimp brethren, it is pimp, he sold his wife. This is the man that had within him the mind of God and the potential to manifest the character of God, he received the potential but that seed that was within him had not yet converted him, so you see, if you have answered an altar call, if you speak in tongues, if you dance in the spirit, if you cast out demons, I am telling you brethren, it does not mean that you have been converted. You are not converted until your nature changes.
I do not know anyone whose nature has completely changed 100%, my nature has not changed 100%, but on a scale of 1 to 10, I have gone from evil to good, and I manifest the nature of Christ a lot of the time, not all of the time, but a lot of the time. Abram had not changed or been converted one iota, and not only that, but we see that he was man of poor character, he was man of poor character, and I want to tell you something right now, that God never told Abram to sacrifice his son Isaac, he never told him to burn Isaac in a fire, God told Abraham something that he misunderstood, but Abraham was a man of a level of character or he had an aspect of character, there was enough of his old nature present, his old nature that was a soothsayer, his old nature that lived in a world that believed in child sacrifice, so that part of his old nature somehow misunderstood something that God told him and he was willing to burn his son.
That is the old man of Abraham, of course Jehovah made him a new creature, the father of the glory of the men and women who would manifest the glory of God, came out of the Christ nature of Abraham, but this was who his old man was, a manifestation of Molech who was willing to burn his child in the fire, and who was willing to pimp out his wife for his own comfort, that is who he was.
When we go to the New Testament and we see that the harlot of Jericho was an ancestor of Jesus, that is just another way of expressing what I just have described to you here about Abram. I want to tell you that there are people and a lot of Jews that would be ready to kill me for what I have just said, I have done an expose of David, and now this is an expose of Abram and I am telling you, this should be an encouragement to you, if you do not have idolatry for the Bible characters, you should be encouraged that God goes to people with very poor characters, with very poor character, he does not go to the cream of the crop, he goes to people with very poor character, and he makes them great, when they are willing to face what they are in relation to God and to truly be willing to change, He will give you the power to change and make you great. This is the same principle is me saying that Jesus of Nazareth was not born God, He was born a natural man, with the Holy Spirit, that is better for you than His being born God, and all of you idolaters want to kill me because I am telling you He was not born God, it is better that He was not born God, because He overcame and you will overcome too. Look at what Abram was, and look at what Abram became.
Abram was a pimp brethren, not Abraham now, but Abram was a pimp, and what about Sarai, why was she not complaining, what do we know about Sarai, maybe she was a temple prostitute that he married, why did she not complain, maybe she did not think there was anything wrong with it. These are the two people that Jehovah chose to bring forth the man that would have the promised seed. Jehovah or the Lord Jesus Christ has no problem giving Himself to the most corrupt human being in the world, because He has the confidence in Himself that He can convert you, and build His nature in you. The whole world, anyone that has any sins at all, although a lot of people do not have any sins today, are running away from people with poor character because they have revelation that poor character is contagious, and that you are who you hang around with. Most people and all people with wisdom are looking to hang around with people that are equal to or better than themselves, both of character and of financial position, and moral and spiritual position, but Jesus is not afraid of the untouchables, or the spiritual lepers. He is not afraid of you, you are not going to engrave Him, He is going to engrave you. Abram was a pimp, God save me from everyone that wants to kill me for saying that, I am telling you the truth, he was a pimp and Jehovah made him a holy man.
Verse 16, "And Pharaoh entreated Abram well for Sarai's sake...", for she was his prostitute, "...and Abram had sheep and oxen and he asses and men servants and maid servants and she asses and camels", and I am sure there are spiritual meanings to that I just did not look it up.
Verse 17, and Abram is living off of the land, Sarai is in Pharaoh's bed and not complaining, okay, but God, verse 17, "Jehovah plagued Pharaoh and His house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife." I want to tell you something brethren, years ago when the Lord was first calling me and I was steeped in ignorance and I was going around to palm readers and astrologers and card readers and tea readers, my life was very bad and I was looking for hope in all the wrong places. I believed in God, I did not know He was Jesus at the time, but I believed in God, and I did not see that there was any conflict between believing in God and going to astrologers and palm readers and tea leaf readers, so I was doing both, see, and I was going to a psychic astrologer, and every time I went to see her some other bad thing had happened to her, she broke her arm, she broke her toe, every time I went there she was fatter, she was a short woman, and the last time that I saw her, she was so fat that she looked like a ball, every time I went there she was fatter, she had a heart attack, her husband had a heart attack, every time I went there something bad happened to her.
Jesus was plaguing her brethren, what does that mean? Was Jesus personally going after her to maliciously hurt her this great God of peace? No, there is a sowing and reaping judgment, I was called of God, I had a high call on my life, did not know who I was, there was actually a witch in which I had gotten involved, I was really messed up in the occult, I got involved with Edgar Cayce, and an Edgar Cayce teacher who turned out to be a real witch, she wound up cursing me, she said to somebody, Sheila does not even know who she is. I had no idea what she was talking about, that witch saw the anointing on me, I had no idea who I was, and I am going to this psychic astrologer and the sowing and reaping judgment was cursing her for prophesying to me. To be honest with you at the moment, I do not fully understand how that works, and at the moment, I cannot even think of a Scripture to support it but I know that it is true because I see it in the Scripture and I know that the Lord told me to give you this example, perhaps by the time we come back after dinner, to go with this message I will have more of an understanding of what I just said to you, that Abram was a pimp and Sarai was a prostitute and Jehovah went to the John, he did not go to the prostitute, he did not go to the pimp, he went to the John, he went to Pharaoh and he said, You better get rid of that woman.
Verse 17, "And the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife, and Pharaoh called Abram and said, Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? Why saidest thou, she is my sister? So I might have taken her to me to wife, now therefore behold your wife." Take her and get out of here, look at what is going on, just go away, no woman is worth this.
Verse 20, "And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him, and they sent him away." They sent Abram away and his wife, and all that he had. Pharaoh did not even take back all of the sheep and the oxen and the asses and he men servants and the maid servants, the she asses, he just said, take everything and just get out of here. That is the end of chapter 12 and we are going to break for dinner, I just want to leave you with this profound thought, that Jehovah went after the John, probably because Abram did not hear Him or did not want to hear Him, and Sarai did not hear Him, and did not want to hear Him. I do not know if Sarai, if He spoke to Sarai or not, but Abram, this great man of God did not hear that what he was doing was wrong, he did not it was wrong, and he probably even was deceived enough to think that God had told him to do it, he did not think prostituting his wife, he did not think pimping was wrong, he did not think burning his son was wrong, he did not think it was wrong
This is why, to go on with God, we must acquire the mind of Christ, the mind of God and we must slaughter our carnal mind permanently, and continuously, do whatever is necessary to abide in the mind of God if we want to prosper, and certainly if we want to ascend, we must deal with this criminal mind, which today the church is not dealing with. As the Lord preaches this message, He is preparing spiritually to judge the sins of the church, to hurt them? No, to reveal to them that they have a carnal mind? Yes, because the church has refused to hear the voice of the Lord, saying, That which you are thinking and doing did not come from me, you have two minds, you are a double minded man, and you must learn to distinguish between the two minds, it is clearly, clearly in the Scripture, that the mind who is exercised in maturity Paul says, will distinguish between good and evil, between the good mind and the evil mind, but the church has not pursued this, the ministers have not taught it, the people do not know it.
Prophecy - And my people perish for lack of knowledge, saith the Lord, because your pride has risen up and covered over that which I have imparted to my people, for this, saith the Lord, I will give you a strong stroke, saith the Lord across the back of Leviathan, and I will break your back, saith the Lord, and I will bring you into submission to me, for you shall let my people go, saith the Lord, that they might serve me outside of the camp.
Amen, God bless you, see you after dinner.
Praise the Lord, we are back from dinner, and we are starting to work on chapter 13 of Genesis, I have the first five verses translated, so that is all that I intend to do today unless the Lord changes my mind. The King James of the first, I think I will read through, actually I think I will read through verse 11, probably I will read through verse 13 in the King James, but I only have the translation of the first five. Genesis chapter 13, "And Abram went up out of Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him into the south, and Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver and in gold. And he went on his journey from the south even to Bethel unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning between Bethel and Ai, Unto the place of the altar which he had made there, at the first, and there Abram called on the name of the Lord, and Lot also which went with Abram had flocks and herds and tents." Please note that Abraham had cattle and silver and gold, but Lot only had flocks and herds and tents. Abram had silver and gold. "And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. And there was a strife between the herdsmen of Abraham's cattle, and the herdsmen of Lot's cattle, and the Canaanites and the Perizzites dwelled then in the land. And Abraham said unto Lot, Let there be no strife I pray thee, between me and thee and between my herdsmen, and thy herdsmen, for we be brethren. Is not the whole land before thee? Separate thyself I pray thee from me, If thou will take the left hand, then I will go to the right, or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. And Lot lifted up his eyes and beheld all of the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as thou comest unto Zoar. Then Lot chose him all of the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east and they separated themselves, the one from the other, Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan. And Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent towards Sodom, but the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly."
I will finish the chapter. "And the Lord said unto Abram, After that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes and look from the place where thou art northward and southward, and eastward and westward, for all of the land which thou seest to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever, and I will make of thy seed as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and the breadth of it, for I will give it unto thee. Then Abraham removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord."
Here we see the Lord giving Abraham the physical land, in chapter 12, we saw that Abram received the spiritual land called the mind of God. In chapter 13, the promise of the physical land is given, actually not the promise, but the physical land is given to Abram. Remember through this whole situation, Abram believes that his seed is Lot. I just want to remind you how many Christians including myself make this mistake, that we interpret God, and if I ever see anybody interpreting me or anybody else, I will correct them and tell you that you should not be interpreting what people say, you should ask them what they mean. But sometimes we interpret people without realizing what we are doing.
Verse 1, King James, "And Abram went up out of Egypt, he and his wife, and all that he had and Lot with him into the south." Let me see what we are doing here, the word "south" means parched land, that is according to Gesengus, and I want to suggest to you that the south, the term the south is talking about the dry land on the left side of the heart center which is above Satan's waters or above Satan's authority, the fact that the land is dry means that Satan is powerless in that area. Alternate translation verse 1, "And Abel within Abram his wife...", you see please note in verse 1 that Abram's wife is not name, Sarai is not name, it just says, his wife, and I remind you of the spiritual principle that when a wife is not named it is talking about an internalized principle, not an external human woman. "And Abram went up out of Egypt", I want to suggest to you that it was Abel within Abram who, and that Abram is the wife of Abel because Abram signifies Cain, Abel within Abram, his wife, Abram the personality of Abel, Cain is the aspect of our mortal foundation that manifests our personality, so we are talking about Abel and his personality, Abram. Abel the root system of the first Adam and his personality, Abram which is his wife, Abel and Cain rose up and took all the belonged to him, Abram is a manifestation of Cain, the personality of the mortal foundation called Abel and Cain, is everybody okay? Actually it is Cain and Abel okay, but as soon as Abel starts to rise up, then he becomes predominate over Cain.
We see Abel within Abram his wife, Abram manifesting Cain, rose up and took all that belonged to him and departed from Abram's belly energy center, which is spiritual Egypt. The King James says, "...and Abram went up out of Egypt", okay and I want to suggest to you that after Abram's experience in physical Egypt, that Abram grew from that experience. There had to be something that I am not even getting right now that Abram had to be embarrassed or had to realize somehow that Jehovah had spoken to him and told him not to put out his wife as a prostitute and live like a pimp, Jehovah had to tell him that, and Abram had to face the fact that he did not listen, Abraham was thrown out of Egypt, he was thrown out, he was exiled from Egypt, Pharaoh said, Take your wife and your belongings and get out of here.
That had to have a negative effect on Abram, plus if he realized that he was wrong before the Lord, he had to have you know embarrassment and disdain about that. I want to suggest to you that Abram learned his lesson, he learned a lesson that he did something wrong, and he therefore ascended out of spiritual Egypt which is the belly energy center. Listen, Abram was worried about his own life, he pimped out his wife so that he could live like a rich person in Egypt, that king of thinking and behavior comes out of the consciousness that is in the belly energy center, can you hear that?
Then Abram was booted out because Jehovah told Pharaoh, You better get rid of that woman or your life is in danger. Abram was embarrassed from the Egyptians, he was embarrassed from God, who knows what else happened there that the Lord is not revealing to me at this moment, but Abram had a spiritual lesson, and he learned from that lesson, he obviously repented, how do I know he repented? Because the next verse says that he left Egypt, then ascended out of Egypt, he went up, he went up to the parched land, he went up to the heart center, where he was above Satan's authority because he repented from his mistake.
Abel within Abram his wife rose up and took all that belonged to him, everything spiritual that belonged to him, who belonged to him? Cain belonged to him, Abram the physical man belonged to him, the whole household that we call Abram belonged to him and the whole spiritual household, and they departed from Abram's belly energy center which is spiritual Egypt, and Lot went with him into the parched land of the heart energy center which is above Satan's authority. Listen, listen, Abram had a soul tie with Lot, Abram's soul was penetrating into Lot, Lot was his adopted son which was even more than an adopted son, he was the flesh and blood of his brother, and Abram was in a position of authority, there was a soul tie, it was just like I tell you, my Christ soul or my Christ mind dwells in your heart center, I dwell in you, in every difficult situation you are supposed to be hearing my voice, remembering things that I said to you, as counsel to you, I dwell in you, my mind dwells in you. Well Abram dwelled in Lot, so when Abram ascended, Lot ascended, when I ascend, you ascend with me, when Moses ascended, the people, Hebrew children ascended.
Abraham learned his lesson, he ascended, and Lot ascended with him. "And Abel within Abram his wife, rose up and took all that belonged to him and departed from Abram's belly energy center which is spiritual Egypt, and Lot went with him into the parched land of the heart energy center which is above Satan's authority." I repeat, the reason I can call Abram Abel's wife, is that in verse 1 of Genesis 13, Abram's wife is not named, which means that his wife mentioned here is a spiritual wife. Praise the Lord, and Abram being female himself could not have a wife. It is Abel, the male element within Abram that we are talking about, and Abram is the wife of that male element within himself. Are there any questions about that?
Verse 2, King James, "And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold." That is the Hebrew, the Hebrew word translated "very" can also be translated "vehement", there is an asterisk next to the word vehement, and then a line down, you see vehement means marked by forceful energy, I want to suggest to you that, that word is referring to Satan. Also the Hebrew word translated "rich" can be translated "enduring adversity", to endure adversity, that is a legitimate translation of the Hebrew word translated "rich" which can be translated positively or negatively.
I see that I have the word Metatron there but I intended to change that, it should be the last Adam, I do not want to say Metatron because I want to put these translations in our alternate translation and nobody, only Kabbalists would know what that means, Metatron. The Hebrew word translated "silver", we are translating silver as salvation, I do not see the translation of the word "gold" here, I think I translated Abram's gold, Abram's human spirit, but I did not indicate it here. That is the gold, Abram's human spirit, which is really Abel, okay. Alternate translation, verse 2 of Genesis 13, "Now Satan was afflicting Abram's physical body", that is the cattle, did I tell you that? Abram was very rich in cattle, silver, and gold. We are translating the word "cattle" as Abram's physical body, in case you do not know what our physical body is, the horse, to God we are the horse, to Satan and the powers and principalities we are the cows that they feed off of just like we eat the meat of cattle.
Alternate translation verse 2, "Now Satan", that is a translation of the Hebrew word translated "very", I am going to say this again, the Hebrew word translated "very" can be translated "vehement", and I looked that word up in the dictionary, vehement means marked by forceful energy, so we are translating that word Satan. "Now Satan was afflicting Abram's physical body", that is a translation of cattle, with grave and persistent misfortune, that is the translation of the Hebrew word translated "rich", grave and persistent misfortune, but Abram was able to endure because the last Adam was overlaying Abel, the first Adam's root system within Abram, and Abel, the fortified Abel was saving Cain, Abram's personality, that is a difficult verse, it took me a while to get that, I am going to read it again. "Now Satan was afflicting Abraham's physical body with grave and persistent misfortune, but Abram was able to endure because he last Adam was overlaying Abel, the first Adam's root system within Abram, and Abel was saving Cain, Abram's personality." Is everybody okay with that?
What Bible character comes to mind when you hear that translation of verse 2? "Now Satan was afflicting Abram's physical body with great and persistent misfortune", who does that remind you of? Yes.
COMMENT: Job.
PASTOR VITALE: Yes, Job. When I saw this, when I saw Job in Abram, what comes to mind is that every Bible character, if you dig deeply enough, experiencing every other Bible character, I mentioned that earlier this morning, and this is true of all of us, for years now, I have known that there were elements of the ministries that in my ministry there are the elements of the ministry of Moses, and the ministry of Elijah, of the ministry of Jesus, before I came into the ministry, I knew that I had, my life was a manifestation of Job, and now as we study Abram, who became Abraham, I see an element of Abram's life in ministry. All of these Bible characters are aspects of the process that we go through as we are changed from a carnal man to a supernatural man in Christ Jesus, okay. I see Abram and Abraham in my life and in my ministry, and in Abram's life I see Job. Earlier this morning, I mentioned that I saw Cain and Abel manifesting in Abram's life, and here again, we have Cain and Abel manifesting.
All of these principles of the doctrine of Christ, they are in all of us, so Abram, now I do not know about you but I do not recall any Scripture from the King James that suggest that Abram suffered in any way, but we see that the spiritual meaning when we dig deep enough into the meanings of the Hebrew words, we see that Abram suffered, I do not know about Abraham right now, but we see that Abram suffered, of course they are the same man, in two different stages of their life, that Abram suffered to the point of having a job experience. Who knows maybe Abram was Job, maybe the book of Job is about Abram, or maybe Job is just a fantasy character that plays out or that expresses a particular aspect of the journey from carnal man to son of God, is that not interesting?
"Now Satan was afflicting Abram's physical body, with grave and persistent misfortune, but Abram was able to endure because the last Adam was overlaying Abel, the first Adam's root system within Abram, and Abel was saving Cain, Abram's personality."
Verse 3, King James, "And he went on his journey from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning between Bethel and Ai," This is a spiritual verse, I suggest to you that this is a spiritual verse, verse 1 was a spiritual verse, verse 2 was probably both spiritual and natural. Although I do not really know that Abram had actual silver and gold, I will not argue with anyone over that, and verse 3, I suggest to you is a spiritual verse. "And he went on his journey from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning between Bethel and Ai," we are translating the Hebrew word translated "went on his journey", we are translating that departed, and the word "south" we are translating the heart center, "Bethel" we are translating the house of God, and the English word "place" or the Hebrew word translated "place", we are told in Strong's is a condition of body or mind, so this can be a condition of mind, you can be in a particular place and be referring to a condition of mind. The word "tent" we are translating "dwelling place", and the word "between" we have two words, two Hebrew words, the same word translated "between" twice.
In the King James, the first time, that word comes up, it is translated "between", as in between "Bethel", and the second time it is translated "and", but both words mean between, so literally the King James is saying, between Bethel, between Ai, praise the Lord.
I have some more here for you, so that word "between", it can also be translated "asunder or to cut away. The word "Ai" the name of the geographical location called "Ai", can be translated or means a heap of ruins, and this is what we have got. "And Abel within Abram departed from spiritual Egypt the third energy center, to the parched land of the left side of the heart center, even to Bethel, the energy center which is the house of Adam, Jehovah's mighty one, the place where his dwelling place had been at the beginning." Here we are talking about the first Adam, this is a highly spiritual verse, "before the left side of the heart center, even Bethel, the house of Adam, Jehovah's mighty one, was cut away from Jehovah and became a heap of ruins." I clarify that, and this is the alternate translation which is clarified. "And Abel within Abram departed from spiritual Egypt which is the belly third energy center, to the parched land on the left side of the heart or the fourth energy center, even Bethel, or which is Bethel, the house of Adam, Jehovah's mighty one, the place where the first Adam's dwelling place had been at the beginning, at the beginning before Bethel", that is the heart center, the fourth energy center, "...which is the house of Adam, Jehovah's mighty one was cut away from Jehovah and became a heap of ruins."
Let me try and break that down for you because is it a long one, and Abel within Abram departed from spiritual Egypt, which is the third energy center, the belly and ascended into the parched land which is the fourth energy center, the heart, and that fourth energy center has a name, it is called Bethel, and it the house of Adam, Jehovah's mighty one, that is what Bethel means, the house of Adam, Jehovah's mighty one, that this fourth energy center, this left side of the heart center, is the place where the first Adam's dwelling place had been at the beginning before Adam fell.
We are being told that before Adam fell, before the first Adam fell, he dwelt in the heart center, that was his home, so now we are told, that is where the garden of Eden is, it is in the heart center, of course we know that from the doctrine of Christ, here is one more witness that the heart center is the location of the garden that Jehovah placed Adam, or where Jehovah placed Adam. We are told that the heart center is the place where the first Adam dwelt before that heart energy center was cut away from Jehovah, and became a heap of ruins, can you hear that? Did I make that clear? Okay.
Alternate translation, the first three verses, I did translate one more verse, but I thought that especially with this third verse that it was so deep that I wanted to give you an alternate translation at this point. Alternate translation Genesis chapter 13 verses 1-3, "And Abel within Abram his wife, rose up and took all that belonged to him and departed from Abram's belly energy center which is spiritual Egypt and Lot went with him into the parched land of the heart energy center which is above Satan's authority. Now Satan was afflicting Abram's physical body with grave and persistent misfortune, but Abram was able to endure because the last Adam was overlaying Abel the first Adam's root system within Abram, and Abel was saving Cain, Abram's personality. And Abel within Abram departed from spiritual Egypt the belly energy center to the parched land on the left side of the heart center, even Bethel, the house of Adam, Jehovah's mighty one, the very place where the first Adam's dwelling place had been at the beginning", before Bethel the heart energy center, the house of Adam, Jehovah's mighty one, was cut away from Jehovah and became a heap of ruins." Praise the Lord.
Verse 4, King James, "Unto the place of the altar which he had made there at the first, and there Abram called on the name of the Lord." The Hebrew word translated "place" again can refer to a position of body or mind, the Hebrew word "altar" means "the place where an animal is slaughtered", I told you that this morning when we did chapter 12, the Hebrew word translated "made" can be translated "formed", and the Hebrew word "name" can be translated "character". Alternate translation verse 4, "And Abram ascended into the mind of God which comes into existence when the carnal mind is slaughtered, which mind of God had been formed in the first Adam, and it was there in the mind of God that Abram was called to acquire the character of Jehovah.
We have a different translation of the word or of the phrase, called on the name of the Lord, he is called to acquire the name or the character of Jehovah. "And Abram ascended into the mind of God which comes into existence when the carnal mind is slaughtered, which mind of God had been formed in the first Adam and it was there in the mind of God that Abram was called to acquire the character of Jehovah." What happened here? Back in chapter 12, we see the mind of God imparted to Abram and a covenant made between Jehovah and Abram, and promises made to Abram, and then as soon as Jehovah withdrew, Abram fell down into his natural character, the person who he really was, and we found out that he was a pimp that sold his wife and lived off of her prostitution, or her fornication at least, but it was prostitution. Then we see Abram thrown out of Egypt, we see Abram repent, and after Abram repented, he ascended from the belly center which is filled with the lust that caused him to sell his own wife so that he can live well, and he ascended back up the heart center, the home of the first Adam, God's mighty one. When Abram repented, he was restored into the mind of Christ, or the mind of God, and this is the story of every believer I know. We fall out of the mind of Christ, we sin, we repent, when we truly repent, the Lord restores us to the mind of God.
This is pretty much as far as I went, I started to work on verse 5, but I did not complete it. Verse 5 says, "And Lot also which went with Abram, had flocks and herds and tents." I did not finish translating that, but I do point out to you that Lot had no gold or silver, gold, Lot did not have salvation, and Lot did not have his human spirit, or Abel within himself overlaid with the gold of the last Adam.
Once again, the point that I am making, is that Abram had the male authority and that Lot had what we might like unto a Pentecostal anointing called the early rain, that Abram was male to Lot and that this is the condition that ultimately resulted in the separation of the two because Lot refused to accept that Abram had authority over him and so here we see the conflict of Cain and Abel all over again, except that in this case, Lot which is Cain, does not murder Abram, that he departs from him, most likely because he failed to murder Abram, it does not say that, although I do not know what I am going to find when I do the translation here, but at the present time, I have no reason to believe that Lot tried to overthrow Abram and failed, but that is probably what happened somewhere along the line, and he could not overthrow Abram so he departed from him, and broke Abram's heart.
The King James translation does not show any indication at all that Lot broke Abram's heart, but neither does the King James translation make it clear that the reason that Lot went with Abram was to be his son. When your son departs from you, when you have a vision in your mind that Jehovah has promised you great things to happen through your seed, and you believe that your nephew is your seed and that seed departs from you, that is a great disappointment.
I think I will stop here since I simple have not worked up the remaining verses of chapter 13, it has been a great message so far, and we will just have to wait until we gather again for the rest of it. Are there any questions or comments.
Praise the Lord, this is another message, and this being preached about two weeks after I preached the previous message on this message and I am adding some things, concerning specifically verse, well we are in chapter 12, verses 13, starting with verses 12 through 17, 18, 19 through 20. This is the account of Abram turning his wife Sarai over to Pharaoh, I was pretty hard on Abram on this message, and I sort of shocked to hear that I called him a pimp but I do believe in all my heart that, that is what he was. I was just telling the people, at least at that time before, see, Jehovah made him a holy man, Jehovah made him holy after he entered into a covenant, after Abram entered into a covenant with Jehovah, at some point he became holy, but he was not holy when Jehovah called him.
We know he was not holy because he turned his wife over to Pharaoh so that he could prosper and live like a king. Brethren, that is the definition of pimp. I am shocked to hear it coming out of my own mouth, but that is the definition of a pimp, and I established on this message, right on this message, that God never told Abram to go down into Egypt, that was Abram's concept of what Jehovah was telling him to do, this particular addendum to the message, is being given because I found a passage in the Zohar about this particular Scripture, and the Zohar has a commentary on this Scripture, which passage in the Zohar led me to believe perhaps I was too hard on Sarai, okay, now I still believe that it was pimp spirit on Abram, I am sorry, all this means is that he was a man of very low character, he was a pagan, he was a heathen, Jehovah took him and cleansed him, that means there is hope for us, just like in Jesus' genealogy, there is a harlot, you know the harlot from Jericho is in Jesus' genealogy, that means there is hope for the most reprobate human being alive, that Jesus Christ can take us and clean us up and give us the nature of God, is that the most incredible thing you ever heard of? Please do not be offended that I have called Abram a pimp because his behavior describes a pimp, that is what he did, he gave his wife to another man to protect himself and then we read the Scripture that he was living off of the land, and that Pharaoh and the Egyptians were good to him because they had his wife, but his wife was called to Pharaoh's bed.
I do want to say that possibly, I do not even want to say that I was wrong about Sarai, because we do not, we do not know whether Sarai just quietly agreed to go because it did not offend her to sleep with Pharaoh. You have to understand that Abram and Sarai were pagans, they were idolaters, they were heathens, I personally do not know what the moral code was of the people who lived in Ur of the Chaldees, at the time that Jehovah called Abram and Sarai. Maybe adultery was not a problem, maybe fornication was not a problem to people of that nation. When I said earlier on this message that maybe Sarai was a temple prostitute, well certain cultures from those days had temple prostitutes and it was not a condemnation, that is the culture that supported that kind of mentality.
Our Jewish culture and Judeo-Christian culture is horrified and shocked at the thought of a temple prostitute and we are shocked at the thought of Abram turning his wife over to Pharaoh to be his bed partner while Abram lived off of the land, but maybe to the culture that they came from, there was nothing wrong with it. I know that or at least I read that the Eskimo culture in Alaska, that, that culture, the Eskimo Indians that were there, at the time that United States acquired Alaska, it was an acceptable thing to give your wife to a traveler that was visiting you. If someone came in out of the cold and asked if you could put them up for the night, and you liked them, you offered them your wife, that was the culture, maybe that was the situation that Sarai did not object, okay that is a possibility. According to the Judeo-Christian law that would make her a harlot, and that is just the truth, see.
Maybe in that culture what Abram did was totally acceptable, but by the Judeo-Christian culture, that still makes him a pimp, you see. The fact that you do not know you are doing something wrong does not mean that it is not violating God's law. Even Sarai and Abram came out of a culture that supported their behavior and they had no idea they were doing something wrong, they were still breaking the commandment of God, they were still breaking the commandment that says, Thou shalt not commit adultery, see, whether they knew it or not, they were a pimp and a prostitute for what they did, you see.
The question that I am asking is, did Sarai go along with it, did Sarai agree to it or was marriage in those days so much of a servitude for the woman, that she really knew she had no choice and she went willingly to Pharaoh believing that Jehovah would protect her. That is what the Zohar suggests, that Sarai went believing that the Lord would protect her, but I do not see any possible excuse for Abram. We do not know whether Sarai objected or not, we do not know if their culture accepted it or not, we do not know if Sarai did not want to go but she went believing Jehovah would protect her, but at the present moment I cannot see any possible justification for Abram's behavior other than, his mind was in a very low spiritual place, that the man that does that to his wife has a mind that is in a low spiritual place.
If you can just overcome your religious spirit long enough, you will be excited to find out that Jehovah frequently if not all of the time goes to me of very low estate and shows His power and His glory by changing their nature and ascending them, raising them up to a higher spiritual plane, which is impossible outside of God, so put your Pharisitical shock away and praise God, because this means you, wherever you are, you have the hope of ascending above the spiritual place that you are locked in to, because everybody in this world is locked into a spiritual place, you can only go so high and you cannot go any higher in this particular incarnation, outside of the sovereign move of the glorified Jesus Christ, see.
I am going to read to you the passage from the Zohar, which gives Sarai credit for believing that Jehovah would protect her, maybe it is true, maybe it is not true, but let us look at it, and let us get it on the message, okay, praise the Lord. Reading from the Zohar, in the night when Sarai was with Pharaoh, the angels came to sing praises before God, but God said to them, go all of you and deal heavy blows on Egypt in anticipation of what I intend to do subsequently, hence it is written, And the Lord smote Pharaoh with great plagues, thus Pharaoh called Abram, etc. What gave him this idea seeing that God did not anything to him as he did later to Abimelech, as when he said, and now restore the man's wife for he is a prophet. The answer is contained in the words, because of Sarai Abram's wife, the angels as they smote him said, This blow is because of Sarai Abram's wife, and no more. And then he knew that she was Abram's wife, and straight away Pharaoh called Abram and said, etc. And Pharaoh gave men charge concerning him, that is concerning Abram, Pharaoh gave men charge concerning him, why so? In order that no man should come near to hurt them, and they brought him on the way, that is they conducting him through, that is Abram, they conducted him through the land of Egypt, said God to him. Are not thou destined to do to his descendants, thou shalt conduct them from thy land as it is written, and it came to pass when Pharaoh let go.
Rabbi Abba said, All of this happened to Abram and he had to go through all of this only in order that he and Sarai might acquire a great name in the world. This is so interesting because the whole theme that is resounding through my head as a result of the research that I have done for today's messages, is that the person who, the believer who really enters into who truly enters into the image of Christ, must go through a temptation, must go through a descent into a lower plane and survive it.
What is so interesting is that if, see I use to watch a lot of occult movies, and read occult books, not the bad stuff, not the horror stuff, I just love, I just love spiritual concepts, but of course ever since the Lord revealed the Zohar to me, I have not spent my time watching any other spiritual movies except on rare occasions because the Zohar in Kabbalah is so exciting to me and it is satisfying me, but before the Lord introduced me to Kabbalah, even the doctrine of Christ that I was digging out of the Interlinear Text myself, I reached a point where it was not enough for me, I needed more, and I would find myself watching spiritual movies, and the principle if you investigate, I do not know how to identify it, new age principles, theosophical principles, all of the occult spirituality that is not horror, I am not talking about horror or Satanic or anything like that, they are always talking about the path that you have to travel, the gates that you have to pass through, the trials that you have to endure and overcome in order to pass through the gate, every occult spiritual philosophy that I have ever looked at, has this theme to it except Christianity. The Christianity that is preached in the world today, is so simple, I do not mean, I do not mean to attack my own people, but the truth is the truth, the church is infantile, absolutely infantile to actually believe that you just answer an altar call and then when you die you go to heaven, or if you do not answer the altar call when you die you go to hell, how simplistic and it is simply untrue, it is simply untrue.
The spiritual life whether you are, you are walking the spiritual walk in Christ or you are walking the spiritual walk outside of Christ, the spiritual walk has the same basic principles, the only difference is what spirit is taking you through, and what does it mean to be walking the spiritual walk, what does it mean to be treading the path? It means to be experiencing the walk or experiencing the lifestyle or experiencing the walk, experiencing the experiences that lead to you being a greater and greater spiritual person, a more and more powerful spiritual person with more and more spiritual power, and more and more spiritual wisdom and more and more ability to function on the spiritual planes, it is the same thing, whether the spirit that is initiating you, that is the word, whether the spirit that is initiating you is the Lord Jesus Christ or another spirit form the other side.
The experience is the same, the experience is so similar that it is almost indistinguishable, they are almost indistinguishable from each other, the experiences in Christ are almost indistinguishable from the experiences that are being given by another spirit that is initiating someone into the spiritual life. This whole concept of spirituality and initiation is alien to the Christian and not only is it alien but when I was a Christian in that young place, I was taught it was wrong and dangerous, and stay away from anything that sounds like spirituality or initiation or anything like that, run from it, it is occult. There is a spiritual path and a spiritual initiation in Christ Jesus, and it is the program that translates you from being a carnal person, even a carnal person under the anointing of the Holy Spirit into a spiritual and a spiritually minded person that is not only acquiring wisdom and knowledge on a spiritual plane, but is growing in spiritual power, spiritual power to lead a prosperous life, to help others to be the head and not the tail, to avoid disaster, to receive spiritual protection.
Brethren there are many sick people in the church today, sick people, dying people, troubled people, Christians in jail, Christians cheating in business because the church is carnal, and they are not living above sin. This big lie has been perpetrated upon the church, that the church does not need to be initiated into the image of Christ. Many say I am in the nature, I am in the likeness and image of Christ now, that is a lie. The image of Christ is the nature of Christ, and the nature of Christ is righteousness and it is associated by righteous power, power to deliver and set free, not only yourself and your family, but whoever God sends you to, to defend.
There used to be a TV program about a Chinese monk who went around, he had physical supernatural powers, he was physically strong, he was always engaging in Kung Fu, I guess that is the name of the series, Kung Fu, and he was always fighting, and he would be there, and he would always fight for the one who was weaker and he would stand up against the person that was trying to hurt them and say, I am here to protect so and so, and the two higher powers would fight and the weak person would be delivered. That is a reality for Christians brethren that very few Christians are walking in today, because it takes a long time and it takes much submission and study and trials and difficulties and hard experiences to develop your nature to a place where you are powerfully strong enough and wise enough and have enough knowledge to go forth to defend people, because you can only go as God sends you. It takes a training of years that come to that place where the Lord Jesus Christ will send you to defend somebody, and He will only send you if He knows that you are going to do what needs to be done, and you cannot know what needs to be done without years of training, years and years and years of training. How many Christians know that this lifestyle exists, and how many Christians want it? Because it is largely a celibate lifestyle.
This Chinese priest in the TV series Kung Fu, he was celibate, he was a priest, he was a Chinese priest of a Chinese order. There is only one measure of spirituality that we have, there is one measure of spiritual energy, either you use it in sexual energy or you use it as spiritual energy, there is only measure of energy, and either it goes up or it goes down. How many Christians are going to give up their sex life for this exciting life of defending the widow and orphan and being a priest of God. Not many, but I think when the truth goes forth and people are educated there will be people that would want it.
I cannot imagine myself in the United States military, I cannot imagine myself in that kind of lifestyle because I am not physical, I was sick for so many years, I could never pass the physical I mean that goes without saying, but there was a time that I could not even imagine, people enlisting to go to war where they know that they might have an arm or a leg blown off or die, but there are people, there are brave young men and women that are enlisting in the military every day. They even had one on TV the other day, he gave up a promising law career in his early twenties he was already making a salary in six figures, that means a minimum of $100,000 in his twenties per year, and he gave that up to join the military.
There are people in this world that have a mindset that is completely different than me, see, but then there are not many people in the world that would live like I live. My warfare is spiritual, and not many people could bear my lifestyle, my celibate largely isolated lifestyle. We all are called to whatever God has called us to, the only problem comes when we resist what God has called us to, the church is not going forward. This message is about Sarai and Abram and what I am trying to tell you is that Jehovah called Abram, and this is the message that has been resounding through my mind the whole day, I know it is my experience but all of these years that I have suffered, I did not know that my suffering was, I should not say my suffering, that the what I was experiencing that resulted in a lot of suffering but the years that have gone by that have been so difficult, are typical for the person who is being initiated into the spiritual life, it is called the destruction and the death of the flesh, you must die to the flesh.
Therefore, and I explained this, I do not know whether I put it on the message this morning or not, this morning we did a message called "The Two Witnesses", I may have put it on the message, this is the way it works, you are a carnal person and the Lord Jesus Christ comes to you and gives you His life, and gives you the seed of His life, and as soon as He gives you the seed of His life, that seed Christ is king of your whole vessel, of your whole world that you are, the only problem is there is already a king on the throne when Christ is put inside of you, and that king is called Leviathan and Leviathan is defended by Satan, just like Ahab was defended by Jezebel, and they stand up and start making war against that humble seed that was added to you, but you the personality, you do not know what is happening to you and before you know it, you have been thrust into a Job like experience, because Satan and Leviathan within you are seeking to throw that seed off, just like the Palestinians and the many other Arabs are determined to throw Israel out of the middle east, they will take no compromise, they want to drive Israel into the sea, they do not want Israel in that area of the world, the same thing is happening spiritually to you once that seed of Christ has been added to you, Satan and Leviathan will do anything to shake that seed lose, and largely their tactics are to input thoughts into your mind that will destroy you and the seed that you now carry.
The holy seed was added to Abram, and his carnal mind, Satan and Leviathan rose right up to test him and they said to him, go down to Egypt Abram, that is what Jehovah meant, and whatever it was that Jehovah said to him, I could look for the Scripture right now but I am starting pass out in the spirit, let me see if I could find it for you, Jehovah verse 2 of Genesis 12, well the Lord is verse 1 of Genesis 12, "Now the Lord said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred and from thy father's house into a land that I will show thee, and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great and thou shalt be a blessing and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curseth thee, and in thee shall all families be blessed.
Verse 4, "So Abraham had departed as the Lord has spoken to him, and Lot went with him." What did Jehovah say to him, Jehovah said, Get up and leave, he did not tell him where to go, he said, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred and what he was really telling him was the ascend spiritually and get out of his carnality, but Abram did not understand, so he took Sarai his wife and Lot and he listened to his carnal mind and he went down to Egypt, Jehovah never told him to go down to Egypt, but the second he received that seed, his carnal mind seduced him into descending into a lower plane. That was the temptation of Jesus, the minute he was baptized and he received John's portion of Elijah's spirit, as soon as that power came upon Jesus, Jesus' own carnal mind, Satan, the unconscious part of Jesus carnal mind immediately tested him.
The contest between Jesus, and it was really Christ in Jesus, it was Christ in Jesus of Nazareth, it was the seed of God in Jesus of Nazareth against Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, who was controlled, this man Jesus of Nazareth, who was controlled his personality, that is what the contest is. Abram went down to Egypt, Egypt is always down, and does that not happen to most people? That happens to most people, you hear from God, you get a word from God, and you are still young and you are uninitiated in Christ and you do not have the foggiest clue as to what the Lord is talking about, and your carnal mind interprets what you hear from God or what you get in prophecy, your carnal mind interprets it, and you go out and do what you think you are supposed to do because you simply do not know how to wait for the anointing, you simply do not know how to wait for the anointing, and unless you have a teacher that is watching over you, or if you do have a teacher and you will not listen to him, okay, then you are going to go down to Egypt.
Apparently, even if you have a teacher watching over you, there is no way you could become initiated in Christ, there is no way you are going to stand up in full stature, there is no way you are going to become a mature spiritual man without having difficult life experiences which kill your flesh and produce spiritual maturity in you, it is called treading the path, it is called initiation. Abram going down to Egypt and selling his wife, that was just showing who Abram was, the same thing happened to Samson. Every message I have ever heard preached about Samson portrays him as merely a weak judge, a morally weak judge, but the Lord showed us today in the message "The Two Witnesses" that Samson was not a morally weak judge, he was the fine spiritual man that the Lord raised up to judge Israel, but when that seed was imparted to him, when the life of God was imparted to him, he descended to a lower plane. Jesus was caught up in the spirit in the wilderness to be tested, Samson went down to a lower plane, when God called me, I went down a lower plane, I am still climbing out of it, and the question is, in that lower plane, are you going to be seduced by the lower plane, are you going to be seduced by Egypt, or are you going to cleave to the Lord your God.
That is the truth about Abram, he was who he was, he was a heathen man who thought that there was nothing wrong about pimping out his wife, now we do not know whether that was acceptable to his culture or he was a low life of his culture, we do not know, what we do know is God changed his name, God changed his name from Abram to Abraham, meaning you are not going to be like that anymore, that is like what Jesus said to the adulterous woman, go and sin no more, that is why Jehovah changed his name, he left that whole life behind him, but we do not know the truth about Sarai, we do not know whether she did not mind sleeping with the Pharaoh, we do not know whether it grieved her or not, we do not know that she believed that Jehovah would protect her, we do not know.
What is interesting is that I see a similarity here to Bathsheba, when we did a message on David and Bathsheba, I know that there was nothing recorded in the Scripture that indicated Bathsheba’s reaction to David claiming her right out from under her natural husband, there is nothing recorded in the Scripture whether she grieved for her husband, whether she grieved that she was in sin with David, whether she liked him whether she did not like him, there is nothing recorded about Bathsheba’s emotional reaction. On the other hand, when David abandoned Saul's daughter Michael, we have a whole message on that, how grieved and hurt and angry Michael was that David abandoned her, and that afterwards David went looking for her, after she had made another life, she had accepted the fact that David had abandoned her and she married someone else, her father gave her to someone else, and she had children in the family, and David ripped her away from her husband, not even because he loved her but because she was his property.
We have a record of Michael's grief and hatred for David, so here we have a mystery, perhaps someday the Lord will tell us the answer, I do not know what the answer is, and what is the question? The question is, why does the Scripture record Michael's grief and bitterness towards David and yet there is no comment whatsoever that I am aware of, okay, of Bathsheba or of Sarai's reaction to how their husbands abused them, why? There has to be an answer, perhaps someday the Lord will tell us, if you do not answer the question, you will never find the answer, if you want a living vital exciting relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, you have to study His word to the point that you have questions to ask, and then He comes to you and answers your questions, and that is how you really begin to grow.
This is the purpose of this addendum to part 1 of this message, to give Sarai another possibility, but you see, even if it turns out that Sarai was a temple prostitute, even if it turns out that she had no moral problem at all with sleeping with Pharaoh, it is not a put down to Sarai, it is merely the culture that she and Abram came out of, see, it may be shocking to us but it may not have been shocking to them, remember the Eskimos give their wives to their visitors, no problem, and I have seen several documentaries on this practice, I never saw any Eskimo wife objecting, she just enjoyed the experience, how alien to our culture, but there are other cultures. I think it is really important that we know about these other cultures, so that we can really appreciate the Judeo-Christian ethic. Praise the Lord, okay, did I read this whole thing? I think I just read the first part of the clip from the Zohar. Yes, and this last sentence, "And all of this happened to Abram and he had to go through all of this only in order that he and Sarai might acquire a great name in the world." Brethren, full stature, spiritual maturity in Christ Jesus, requires a lifetime of difficult experiences that we are required to overcome, to prevail in and to overcome. That is the way of initiation in any spiritual path, but especially in Christ Jesus, spiritually dangerous experiences, believing that Christ is with you.
I copied one section from the Zohar, let us read it, for even in Egypt, a country of magicians from whom no man could escape, Abram distinguished himself and he raised himself there to a higher eminence and it is written, and Abram went up out of Egypt, okay, he descended and then he went up out of Egypt, to where did he ascend? Into the south, said Rabbi Simeon, observe that these words have an inner meaning, and indicate to us that Abram went down to the lower degrees in Egypt and probed them to the bottom, but clave not to them and returned unto his master.
Brethren, that is my experience, I went down pretty low from where I was, from the level I was born into, I descended pretty low, but I did not stay there, I returned to my master, and He saved me. We see that Abram was not like Adam who went he descended to a certain grade, was enticed by the Serpent, and brought death upon the whole world, nor was Abram like Noah, who when he descended to a certain grade, was enticed and drank of the wine and become drunk and was uncovered in the midst of his tent. How strange that the Zohar does not mention Samson here, but the Lord gave me Samson also. Samson prevailed at the end, after being greatly humiliated, he cried out to God, the Lord granted him a return of his strength and he brought down the carnal mind.
Unlike them, Abram came up again, and returned to his place to the upper grade to which he had been attached previously. This whole incident is related in order to show that he, Abram was steadfast in his attachment to wisdom and was not seduced and returned to his former condition into the south. This is the higher grade to which he was first attached, or that he was attached at first, as it is written, going on still to the south. That is quote from the King James. The inner significance of this narrative, is that if Abram had not gone down to Egypt and been tested there, his portion would not have been in the Lord.
In other words, to have a portion in the Lord means to have a soul tie, a strong covenant with the Lord. There is no way you can have that without being tested, because when the Spirit of God, when the life of God is given to you, your carnal nature will test you, and if you are not tested that means you have not received the life of God, it is as simple as that.
I have to read this again because I lost my place, the inner significance of this narrative is that if Abram had not gone down to Egypt and had been tested there, his portion would not have been in the Lord, similarly with his descendants whom God desired to make a unique and perfect people, that is us, and to bring near to Himself, similarly for us, you see. If we do not go down to Egypt and get tested, we will never be deeply in the Lord. If they had no gone down to Egypt and been tested there, they would not have been God's chosen people. Similarly, too, if the holy land had not been first given to Canaan to rule over, it would not have become the lot and portion of the holy one, blessed be He. Why not? Because everything that God's people have, has to be won, nothing is handed over to us except the Holy Spirit, everything we acquire in God, has to be taken by warfare, by righteous warfare in Christ Jesus, which warfare builds Christ in us.
The Christian lifestyle is a warfare lifestyle. The peace that is associated with Jesus Christ is the grace that is giving sinners the opportunity to be reconciled to God so that they can be cleansed and enter into the warfare that produces spiritual male maturity, and that is why the period of grace is coming to an end, because that is a period of femaleness, that is a period of spiritual femaleness and everything in God must go on to become male. In all of these facts, the same mystical purpose is to be observed, what is the mystical purpose? That God desired to make a unique and perfect people and to bring near to Himself, and if we do not go down to Egypt and if we are not tested, we would not be and cannot be God's chosen people, because until we are tested brethren, we are ruled by our carnal mind, the test must come, we must learn to distinguish between the carnal mind and Christ, if we are to go on.
Praise the Lord, so just to reiterate this additional exhortation was to give Sarai another possibility, that she was not a temple prostitute, that she was not a woman who had no problem committing adultery, but that she simply submitted to the will of her husband believing that Jehovah would protect her.
However I will reiterate again, if the truth is that Sarai thought, had no problem with adultery, or if she was a temple prostitute, that she and Abram came out of a culture where that was an acceptable lifestyle, this truth to whatever degree it is true, is a glory and a testament to Jehovah who had the power to change Abram and Sarai's name and make them clean and great and the progenitors of all of Israel, and the progenitors of spiritual Israel as well. The bottom line brethren is this, mortal man is the fallen first Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ is the last Adam, the fallen first Adam is the female aspect of Adam, and the last Adam is the male aspect of Adam, and the two are supposed to be joined as one. The Lord Jesus Christ has come to take back what was lost, that is the first Adam His wife, and in order to take us back, we have to fight our way out of the den of the Fiery Serpent, we have to overcome Satan and Leviathan, that is why the lifestyle of the Christian is a warfare lifestyle, until we ascend out of this world, which is hell, at least it is an aspect of hell, it is one of the aspects of hell, I do not have any more information about what happens after we leave this physical body, but I know that this world is an aspect of hell, or one level of hell, and that even in this world we have various aspects of hell, we have purgatory, we have the hell that affects the physical body, the people, you ever see pictures of those starving children with flies buzzing around their head in Africa? That is a level of physical hell, and mental hell, I mean what do you think that does to your mind when you are in that physical condition, and you have nothing to do all day but sit there and starve to death, that is a level of hell brethren, people that are in pain all day from disease, they are in hell.
People that are drug addicts, they are in hell, people that are alcoholics, they are in hell, people who are in emotional pain, women whose husbands beat them up, they are in hell, there is mental hell, there is spiritual hell and there is physical hell, an then there is also Goshen in this land, and that goes to the people who have a reasonably decent life, no one has a perfect life, most of the people in Goshen are in this country, or at least in western Europe today, but it is still hell, because whatever prosperity you have in this world, unless you are blessed of God, you have that prosperity with sorrow, with some sorrow.
If you are prosperous in your career, if you have a lot of money and you are very comfortable, maybe your personal life is not all that you would like it to be, maybe you have an unfortunately a sick child, or a mother or father that you have lost, there is always some kind of pain in this world, because it is hell. Jesus has come to help us out, to show us the way out of hell, and if you are not, if your lifestyle is not a warfare, that means you are not on the path that leads out of hell, Jesus escaped this world system, He ascended into a higher plane where men are not trapped into physical bodies. Elijah also ascended out of this world, he ascended out of the physical body, the grave that our spirit man lives in. That is the bottom line, this is what God is doing with people today, He is trying to get us out of Egypt, He is trying to stir up our minds so that we are willing to leave, because most people do not want to go, they do not want to leave the pleasures and the comforts of this world, that is why people who have the hardest lives and the less worldly pleasures are most likely to follow Jesus into that difficult life.
That is what Jesus was talking to the young ruler about, He was not telling him to give up all of his money, He was saying, give up your ties to this world, sell that which you have, sell your tie to Leviathan, give your allegiance to me, and risk whatever loss may come, believing that in due season, I will restore it out of my life. I lost almost everything brethren. You have to be willing to lose everything, trusting God that you will survive and that eventually all of your needs will be met again, that is what the Christian life is all about. It is not about being happy, it is not about whatever else these other preachers are preaching, I mean you can be happy as you walk the walk, you can have money as you walk the walk if it is not hindering the development of the spirituality of Christ within you.
Of course it all depends where you are, you know if you are new to this, and God is teaching you to be happy, well that is fine, I am never meaning to put down other ministries, but I am trying to tell you that ultimate goal of the Lord is to make you a mature spiritual male, if one of the plateaus that you have to ascend to is to learn how to be happy with whatever it is that you have, it is to be content with whatever it is that you have, then praise God, but you should know that, that is just one plateau, it is not the whole thing, but the program goes on until we ascend out of the body, and you do not have to physically die to ascend out of the physical body. Praise the Lord, okay any questions or comments on this message. Goodnight, and God bless you.
