Praise the Lord everybody, we are continuing on with our study of The Woman With The Alabaster Statue. We have already done the introductory verses and the critical verses in Matthew. Today we are going to look at the secondary verses, the verses that appear after the critical verses. The critical verses are the verses that we find four different versions of in the four different gospels.

 

Today we are going to look at Matthew 26:10-13, the secondary verses that appear after the critical verses. We have two side-studies in the midst, but we also have a special treat. Xxx spent some time on the internet, and found some very interesting proof of the fact that alabaster is a substance that is commonly used to make religious statues. She is going to minister to us from her own notes that she collected on the internet, and then we will go on with our study.

 

COMMENT:  I came across some really interesting information on alabaster. To begin with, alabaster is a mineral that is used to carve out different objects ranging from statues to vases and ornamental articles. This stone is got from quarries in many parts of the world, and has been used from early times to the present time.

 

There are different varieties of alabaster. Wikipedia, the free on-line encyclopedia talks about the present day alabaster (gypsum) and the alabaster of ancient times, bible days, (calcite). Gypsum is a hydrous sulfate of calcium whilst calcite is a carbonate of calcium. Gypsum is much softer than calcite. The calcite alabaster is also referred to as Oriental alabaster because the early examples came from the Far East.

 

An on-line Catholic Encyclopedia says, Among the ancients, Oriental alabaster was frequently used for vases to hold unguents, in the belief that it preserved them; whence the vases were called alabasters, even when made of other materials.

 

The Wikipedia encyclopedia says that sacred items such as jars and sepulchral objects carved out of alabaster have been found in some Egyptian tombs. However, I got really excited when I found out that, according to the on-line wikipedia, thousands of gypsum alabaster artifacts dating to the late 4th millennium BC have been found in Tell Brak (present day Nagar), in Syria, and in Mesopotamia, a gypsum alabaster sculpture, believed to represent the god Abu, dates to the first half of the 3rd millennium BC.

 

To see that statues representing gods were made of alabaster in those early days tripped me.

 

PASTOR VITALE:  We see that what I received by revelation from the Lord Jesus, that the alabaster was a statue and not a box, was definitely a reality at the time that Jesus was in His flesh, and is even a reality today. Alabaster is a common substance of which religious statues are made.

 

For those that did not hear the beginning of this message, the word in the Greek is alabaster. There is no Greek word that is translated box. There is just the word alabaster. There is no indication of what the alabaster was formed into. Therefore it is purely the subjective decision of the translator to say what the alabaster object was.

 

The King James translator said it was an alabaster box, but the Lord told me it was an alabaster statue, and as we pursue the translations we see that the content and the context of the verses certainly do witness to the fact that the woman had an alabaster statue that she was worshiping, and that there was a spirit that was speaking to her through the statue that was controlling her.

 

Some people think that spirits inhabit statues, but I am more inclined to believe that the spirit is in the person. However, spirits that dwell in people are always looking for a means by which to communicate with the host or the house that they live in. Very few people are in a condition to respond to an indwelling spirit. Even if they would hear a voice, it would more or less frighten them or they would not respond to it.

 

It is the practice of many spirits to project themselves. They stay rooted in the human being, but they project themselves out of the human being and appear externally. Either a voice would be heard from the statue, or the spirit projects itself and appears outside of the person. We see very often in Irish culture this concept of the Leprechaun that always appears on the window sill to the person sitting in a chair or lying on a bed. That spirit, that Leprechaun, is in the person, but projects itself outward and takes a temporary form.

 

The spirit was not in the statue, it was in the woman, but it was using the statue as a point of contact, in which to control her through communication with her. We are also told from our study so far that the statue was Tamar. This woman was burning incense to this statue, and it was getting her what she was looking for. Her every need was provided. The spirit that spoke to her through that statue was providing her needs.

 

Apparently she had enough money to live on. Her physical needs were met, and her spiritual needs were met, but the Scripture calls her a beggar. This is because no matter how much your spiritual needs are met, if that spirit is not Christ, you are a beggar. I know that there are people who serve spirits that are not Christ, and when those spirits take care of them, they provide those material and financial needs and their healing needs.

 

The truth of the matter is that there are unclean spirits in this world that can meet every need of the person except one. They cannot give us salvation. They cannot give us salvation, and they cannot give us the goodness of God. There is a price that people pay for having their needs met by an unclean spirit, and usually the price is somebody else’s life. Sometimes it is their own children’s life, but in Christ Jesus we are promised life eternal with no strings and no sorrow, praise God.

 

Again, by revelation, the Lord had me start with the account of the woman with the alabaster box in the gospel of Luke. It turned out that that was the translation that I needed, to help me to understand the other three translations. We have also translated the critical verses in Matthew in the account of the woman with the alabaster statue, and I do have the critical verses of Mark prepared for our next meeting.

 

I have already integrated the alternate translation from Luke and Matthew, and it is very interesting. We are going to get our whole story as we integrate the verses of all of the four gospels. We are getting a little bit more information in each account. We will do that when next we are together.

 

Today, we are going to look at Matthew 26:10-13, and we will also do a little side study on what a spiritual virgin is. We read in the book of Revelation about the spiritual virgins that follow Jesus everywhere. The way we get to that side study, is that the one of the words that the Lord has shown me to use in the spiritual translation of these verses, is virtue or virgin. The woman who use to be the slave of the spirit that communicated with her through the alabaster statue, now has virtue.

 

Her virginity is being restored and Jesus had become the guardian of her spiritual virtue. YKVK has cut the woman away from Satan, the unclean spirit that had control over her, and the woman has now become vulnerable. If Jesus did not move in to meet her needs, to protect her, to teach her, she would have been recaptured by the unclean spirit. That is where we are now.

 

We shall pick up with verse 10 of Matthew 26, King James Version.

 

 

Matthew 26:10-13

10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. KJV

 

 

When Jesus understood it…, when Jesus understood that Simon and Judas were complaining that He was interacting in a positive way with this woman who obviously had an unclean spirit…. How did Jesus understand it? He heard their thoughts; He heard their thoughts and Jesus answered them. He answered verbally to their thoughts.

 

….and He said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman for she hath wrought a good work upon me. The King James translation sounds like Simon is murmuring because the woman is wiping Jesus’ feet with her hair. I have told you this before, brethren, there is no way you can convince me that a woman walked into the room where Jesus was and got down on her knees and wiped His feet with her hair.

 

Even if there was a woman who would do that, I do not believe Jesus would receive that because at the very least, I would call that a religious spirit. I would call that a religious spirit and I would not expect Jesus to receive that kind of worship. The worship that Jesus wants is humility before Him, recognition of Him, obedience to what He says, and He wants us to treat our fellow brethren as we would have ourselves to be treated.

 

I do not see anywhere that Jesus is looking to have His feet wiped with someone’s hair, or to have someone kiss a ring on his finger which is analogous to having your feet wiped with someone’s hair. That is my personal opinion; you can disagree with me if you like.

 

In any event, we have investigated the Interlinear Text, and I have looked up every word in these verses, every Greek word in Strong’s Concordance. I have looked at the legitimate alternate translations of the Greek word, and asked the Lord what He was really saying in this verse, and this is what we have come up with.

 

Verse 10, the work up is here, you have your notes. I will go over them briefly,

 

When Jesus perceived (understood) [their thoughts] answered (said) them, [saying], YKVK (why) has cut (2873 = cut - 1 of 2 Greek words translated "trouble ye") the woman away [from the spirit that was controlling her], and (for) I (me) [am] working to guard (3930 = to hold near; to keep - 2nd of 2 Greek words translated "trouble ye") her [spiritual] virtue (good 2570 - beautiful/Tiferet)* [with] the labor/ministry [which is] from above (upon)

 

The word understood we are translating perceived. Hopefully that shows you that Jesus perceived their thoughts, not that He understood what they were saying to Him. He answered them is an alternate translation of said. Then we have the Greek word translated why, and as I have explained on previous messages, we are taking a look at these translations with a Kabbalistic slant, and an established hidden way of saying YKVK by the Kabbalists is by using the word why.

 

Actually it is the word who. I wonder if I made a mistake, actually it is the word who that means YKVK.

 

Why trouble ye the woman, she hath wrought a good work upon me. There are two Greek words translated troubled ye. The first Greek word is Strong’s #2873 and it means to cut. The second Greek word is Strong’s #3930 and it means to hold near, or to keep. The Hebrew word in the book of Genesis where Jehovah says to Adam, Keep the garden, that word really means to guard the garden, so I am going to take this word keep and translate it as guard because I believe that is the context that Jesus told me to put it in.

 

The word me can legitimately be translated I. In the Greek it does not matter whether it is me, I, or mine, it is all the same word. The word for we are translating and. The word good in good work is Strong’s #2570 and the word means beautiful. Beautiful is a word that symbolizes the Sefirah, Tiferet. Tiferet is the center Sefirah, and it usually signifies YKVK. It is significant of the perfect balance. YKVK brought forth Tiferet, signifying the spiritually balanced middle column, within the woman.

 

The left column and the right column are continuously interacting with each other. The left column is severe judgment, and the right column is usually kindness and mercy, and the better qualities. The right column is always restricting the severity of the left column, and in a perfect success they come into a middle ground.

 

The person does not go to the left or to the right. They come into the consciousness and their personality comes into a position called the middle ground, where they are perfectly balanced between judgment and kindness, and come up with what we call righteous judgment. This is judgment that does not come out of pride, but the judgment that comes out of righteousness that brings forth life.

 

We see that this is beauty or Tiferet, and that is a translation of good. As I brought it forth in the context and prayed about it, the Lord said that the word He wanted me to use was virtue, and we will do a side study on that. We have good work, the Greek word translated work means simply to labor, and we have the word upon which can also be translated above.

 

After praying, this is the translation the Lord gave me for verse 10 of Matthew 26.

 

When Jesus perceived [their thoughts], He answered them [saying], YKVK has cut the woman away [from the spirit that was controlling her], and I [am] working to guard her [spiritual] virtue* with the spiritual labor [which comes] from [the world] above.

 

Just as a reminder the words in the square brackets are amplifications; I have added those words in for the purpose of understanding.

 

When Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered them saying, YKVK has cut the woman away from the spirit that was controlling her and I am working to…. it is a spiritual work that He is working, it is a spiritual labor …to guard her spiritual virtue with a spiritual labor which comes from the world above.

 

In other words, there is no human labor that can guard someone against being recaptured by Satan, but this work which comes from above, is what will do it. What is this work that comes from above? It is a spiritual labor that continuously exposes and reveals sin, and convicts the person, because when repentance comes forth, then that spiritual mind, that Christ mind moves in and protects and covers the person.

 

That is the labor that is from above; the exposure and the revelation of sin and the conviction of that sin, so that the person comes to repentance. Today a lot of people in the church say, Put it under the blood, believing that the blood of Jesus covers their sin without any repentance (we are talking about sin now). One woman was saying to me, Put it under the blood, do not worry about sin, put it under the blood. God forgive her, I know she was just being naïve.

 

The only way you can put sin under the blood brethren is to seriously recognize that it is sin and confess it as sin. This attitude of putting it under the blood is definitely not an attitude of seriously recognizing that you have sinned. We are forgiven only in the areas where we recognize that we have sinned. This is the truth about being forgiven.

 

Jesus came with a forgiveness of sins, but each person must appropriate that forgiveness, and that forgiveness can be appropriated only in the area where there is specific repentance. Some people like to say, Oh yes, I repent, but they do not want to actually face what they are repenting of.

 

The reality is they just want the person who is exposing their sins to be quiet, and stop exposing their sins. They say, I repent, hoping that it would be the end of it. For someone to receive the full benefit of repentance and the forgiveness that accompanies it, we must fully comprehend what has manifested in us.

 

We must understand what process has been revealed in our mind that is thinking contrary to the way that God thinks because that is what sin is. Sin is thinking that is contrary to the mind of God and then the behavior that grows out of that thinking. A definition of sin is to miss the mark. To miss what mark? To miss the mark of reasoning as God reasons and then follow our thoughts and behave as we think. Sin is on two levels; sin in the mind and sin in the behavior.

 

The spiritual labor that Jesus was doing was not only a single exposure of this woman’s sin, but a continuous exposure. What does that mean? Every time the woman said something to Him that was ungodly, He revealed it to her. He said, The thought in your mind that made you say what you just said to me, was reasoning or thinking that is ungodly. It is it ungodly because that reasoning came out of a spirit of pride in your mind, or came out of a spirit of witchcraft in your mind. God does not think like that.

 

Jesus is saying that if God was in this position and He was in this situation, this is how His mind would have seen it. That is the exposure of sin. Exposure of sin is not telling somebody that they just stole something. People know when they steal; that is not what we are talking about here. We are talking about a thought process, a mechanism, an automatic way of thinking that results in death. That is what must be exposed, covered over, and nullified. It is a thought process, it is a mentality. It is the way we look at things.

 

This on-going labor that Jesus was doing for this woman was an exposure of her thought process. Jesus must have said to her, The god that speaks to you through an alabaster statue is a god that ultimately takes your life. You have a wrong thought in your mind, Mary. You thought that burning incense to that statue was meeting your every need in this world and that there were no consequences, but you were wrong. The consequence of worshiping that statue is death. However, there is a God in heaven, His name is Jehovah, and when you worship Him the fruit that you receive is life.

 

That is the process of exposing sin. That is the labor, the spiritual labor that Jesus is talking about. It is the spiritual labor that we must all go through as we enter in and help to develop the man Christ Jesus in us. That is the spiritual labor. It comes from above and it can only be done with the mind of Christ. It cannot be done through psychotherapy.

 

People that are not functioning in this world can go to a psychiatrist and get similar help but the change it produces is not to the same extent that the Spirit of Christ can change them. Psychotherapy can help the person to function in the world but it cannot change their nature. It does not get all of the way down into your spirit; it does not change your nature. It does not change you in a way that affects future generations. The exposure of sin from the mind of Christ and the change that follows affects your children, and your grandchildren, and your great grandchildren. It changes your life and the life of your descendants.

 

All wrong thinking results from curses. It is curses in your mind that make you think incorrectly. If someone goes to a psychiatrist and spends ten years in intense psychotherapy, their life might change in this world, but the curse that created the wrong thinking is not broken. Even if their children now have an example of a parent who is thinking correctly, that innate spirit will rise up and overtake the child. This is the basic foundation of what they call the nurture-nature theory in psychology.

 

When I was taking psychology in college, I had a teacher who was firmly convinced in the nurturing theory. That means he believed firmly that every child that came into the world, came into the world with a clean slate, with nothing written on it, and only the way he was nurtured and the influence of the environment affected what the child became. I do not believe that is a very popular theory today because it is really simply untrue.

 

Children come into the world with a physical inheritance, they look like their parents. They come into the world with an emotional inheritance; they usually are like their parents. They come into the world with an intellectual inheritance; if the mother and father are bright, usually the children are bright. Why would there not be a spiritual inheritance? If you see that children look like their parents, why would you assume that psychologically and intellectually they have a clean slate? It just makes no sense at all.

 

That is the nature-nurture controversy. What makes the child who he is? Is it the nature that he is born with, or the nurturing that he receives? Experiments were done to determine this. For example one that comes to mind is this baby who was the child of two alcoholics. He was removed from the parents at birth, and adopted by a very prosperous family, who were emotionally stable. They were professional people, had good jobs, a nice house, and the boy had everything. He had every possibility and opportunity that a child could have in this world, and he became a hopeless alcoholic.

 

He had no idea who his parents were. He had not had anything to do with his biological family. There was no sign of alcoholism anywhere, either on the adopted mother or adopted father’s family line, and this young man, despite every opportunity available to him, never made it through school. He became a hopeless alcoholic and his life was ruined. It was a curse, it was an inherited curse.

 

If you go to a psychotherapist, he may help you to change, but the curse will not be broken. That power in that psychotherapy (and there is a power behind it), might change your life, but it will not break the curse. It will not change the life of your children.

 

When you enter into this process with God where your sin nature is revealed, and the Christ thinking counterpart is revealed to you, and you are working with God to choose the Christ reasoning, that simultaneously breaks the curse, and it will affect your children. It will help your children. That is the spiritual labor from above that Jesus was working with this woman.

 

Let me tell you that this could go on for a long while. It all depends on the extent to which the Lord is working with you. I have been involved in this kind of labor. You could be talking to people for days, hours at a time, helping them to understand their own motives, helping them to understand that what they just said, even though they did not think they were saying or doing anything wrong, resulted from wrong thinking, from that mechanism in their mind that makes them automatically think in that way that leads to death.

 

Let us say that they had an interaction with someone, and did or said something and they did not know their behavior was out of order and the other person got upset. They did not mean any harm, but it upset the other person. The person who did not mean any harm looks at the person who is upset, and says, What are you all upset about, you must be feeling grumpy today. That is blaming the person that is upset, but they do not know that they are blaming anybody.

 

Is anybody not following me? Are you following me? Do you want me to say it again?

 

We have two people, one person does not mean any harm, but they say something to the second party that upsets them. The second party gets upset, and they say, Do not talk to me like that, I do not like you talking to me like that. The person who did not mean any harm, but just had ingrained in their personality this way of communicating, looks at the upset person and says, Are you having a bad day?

 

The person that is ignorant to this level of reasoning says to the upset person, What is your problem? Have you gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today? You are grumpy. I am sorry you are having a bad day. The person that is upset now gets twice as mad.

 

Let us say the second person is the teacher. In a situation like this, if the person is under corrective judgment, the teacher will speak to the person who is ignorant of these things and would say, Look I know that you did not mean to hurt anybody, but this habit that you have upsets me. Let us say, for example, the habit is not responding to people or ignoring them when they talk to you. The teacher would say, I am talking to you, and you are not answering me. I asked you twice, and you still did not answer me, it upsets me.

 

The teacher would go on to say, What you refer to as grumpiness is my reaction to something that you did. That is the not definition of being grumpy. You really have blamed me when you did something wrong. You have blamed me; you have made me the party whose behavior is strange.

 

Going through the whole thing with the other party like this is the labor from above. That is the exposure of the sin nature. If the person is willing to listen, and hear the Christ counterpart and change, they will come into the nature of Christ eventually. That is the labor from above, and it just goes on for hours and hours and hours, and days and weeks and months.

 

That is what Jesus was doing for this woman. For her to be so overtaken with witchcraft (it had to be that spirit), the witchcraft had to be woven through her whole personality, and was manifested in the way she thinks.

 

It is all in the way we think. Somebody hurts us, and we think we should kill them. What does the Christ mind say? Somebody hurts you, forgive them. These are two radically different thoughts to the same event. This is just an obvious example. These wrong thought processes could get more and more subtle.

 

We all laughed when I gave that example of being grumpy, but what happens is the people that do these things, do not realize it. It is possible that you are sitting here now and you are laughing and you can walk out of here and do the same thing under different circumstances and not realize that you are doing it.

 

Every thought that is not from Christ will be exposed, and when the person is willing to confess it and repent, that is a death blow to the sin nature, and Christ grows stronger. This is the labor from above. Praise the Lord.

 

It was a duel between Satan in the woman and the Spirit of Christ in the man Jesus, and that deadly spirit in that woman did not hurt Him. On the contrary, she was converted. That is the sign of those who believe. The Scripture says of those that believe that they shall take up serpents. I am not really going to make an issue over what it is that you have to believe.

 

I do not care what you believe. I am not fighting with anybody over doctrine. Maybe you are right and maybe you are wrong. I am looking at the signs. Show me the signs and I will believe anything you say (but you have to show me signs by the Spirit of Christ and not by the spirit of Satan). Show me the signs.

 

The Scripture says of those that believe that they shall take up serpents. That means they can take up spiritually leprous people, highly demonized people. They are going to drink down their spirit and it will not hurt them, and they shall lay hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover. We see this manifesting on a physical level, and a spiritual level. When you see people doing that, you should want to find out what they believe.

 

 

Alternate Translation Matthew 26:10

When Jesus perceived [their thoughts], He answered them [saying], YKVK has cut the woman away [from the spirit that was controlling her], and I [am] working to guard her [spiritual] virtue* with the spiritual labor [which comes] from [the world] above.

 

 

We have a little side study now on Virtue/Virgin (virtue or virgin, the same word).

 

 

II Corinthians 11:2

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy, for I have espoused you to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. KJV

 

 

Revelation 14:4

These are they which are not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are they which follow the lamb wherever He goeth, these are redeemed from among men being the firstfruits unto God, and to the lamb. KJV

 

 

This is not talking about physical virgins, and it is not talking about being celibate from men. They are each talking about human beings, both female and male, who are not defiled by their carnal mind, which is female. The carnal mind is the female in relation to the man Christ Jesus. The carnal mind is just the mind of the old man (the old man is really a woman).

 

These are people, both physical men and physical women, in whom Christ Jesus is formed, who are never seduced away from the direction and the will of Christ Jesus by their old man, because such an event would be defilement. If Christ Jesus tells you to do something, and your old man or your carnal mind tells you otherwise, and you think that your old man is Christ Jesus and follow that instruction, it is spiritual adultery and you are defiled.

 

There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus but this is the reality. We cannot prosper in Christ if we are deceived by our carnal mind, and our carnal mind is that man of sin that sits in the temple of God. We are the temple of God, and He sits in the temple of God. The carnal mind is calling himself God, speaking to us, wooing us, working his lust and his desires through us, and saying, I am God, this is God speaking.

 

Some people have the led disease. They say, God led me to do this and God led me to do that, and of course God never led them to do anything. It is their own leading, and it is their own will.

 

God told me that you are supposed to give me your house. We have had situations like that, and I know someone who this happened to. A brother in the church walked right into their house (of course they invited him into the house), and said, The Lord told me that you are supposed to give me your refrigerator because I do not have a refrigerator.

 

We have that in the church. God told me. You are right that god told you. The god of this world told you. If I was supposed to give you my refrigerator, God would have told me. It is funny, but it is really very sad that these things happen in the church. The church has to grow up, brethren.

 

We have to grow up, and one of the signs of spiritual maturity is the ability to distinguish between our carnal mind and its desires, and the Christ mind and God’s desires. We have to distinguish between our own will and the will of God.

 

It is most likely that the Lord was telling that man to give something to the person that had the refrigerator, and he got it backwards. Everybody gets it backwards. In our immaturity, we think everything is for us.

 

There was a time when in every church service I walked into I was looking for something for me, and there was always ministry for somebody else. One day the Lord said to me, When are you going to get it Sheila. I brought you to a place where you are to minister. I will take care of your needs.

 

He said, You do not have to go to a church service to get your needs met. I talk to you face to face. I am meeting your needs. When you are in a church service, you are my vessel, my communication to another person that does not hear me on the level that you hear me. Then I started to accept it. Now there is nothing wrong with going to a church service to get your needs met; this was me.

 

In the early days when I was in church, my first pastor had the gift of the word of knowledge, and in every service he went around calling out people to give them words of knowledge. He must have spent up to a half an hour doing this each service, and I just wanted him to call me out so badly (of course, he was under the anointing). The man never called me out.

 

I was so frustrated, I complained to God. I felt very rejected and abused. I bothered the Lord so much that He spoke to me one day, and He said, Sheila, I speak to you face to face, why do you need that man to call you out in a service? All of those people that he calls out are people that do not hear me like you hear me. He is only one man, his time is limited. Why should he call you out when I talk to you directly?

 

He said to me, That is a spirit of witchcraft in you. It is the same spirit that sends somebody to a fortune teller, and says, ‘read my palm, what can you see?’ It is the same spirit, and it is a spirit of divination. You have to get delivered. This mentality is in a lot of people. It is in more people in the church, than it is not. There are those in the church who say, Give me a word, Give me a word. Does the Lord have a word for me?

 

I know there are a couple of people in Living Epistles that ask me that continually until I finally have to tell them, No, I do not have a word for you. The Lord told me that you are a spiritual male and He talks to you directly, what do you need me for? I am here for the people that cannot hear from God for themselves.

 

Even if you hear from God and He is telling you something that for some reason you do not understand, or your pride is blocking, He will tell you once, He will tell you twice. If you are here in Nigeria, He will tell someone else in the group. He will have sister XXX tell you. He will have your wife tell you. If you still cannot hear Him, then there is a good chance He will ask me tell you, but I am the last one back there.

 

He is telling you first. He is speaking to you in dreams, and He is speaking to you in the Scripture. He is speaking to you when you pray. He is speaking to you through the people that you see every day. It is a spirit of idolatry or a spirit of divination that makes you want that other person to have a word for you.

 

If you do that and you have an unscrupulous leader, they will have a word for you alright. Every time you go up to them, they will have a word for you, and then they will be controlling your life. We are supposed to be controlled by God, and if we are not controlled by God because we do not have the spiritual equipment to be controlled by God, then He wants to give us that spiritual equipment.

 

He wants to put Christ in us. He wants to put the savior in the midst of us so that we do not have to be controlled by other men. Of course there is a middle ground. There is a balance you need to strike. You can go to someone for counsel. You can go to a man of God for counsel. If you have a problem that you have not been able to solve you can call me up or talk to me about it.

 

It is this mentality that says, If I could only hear from that person…. That is what the Lord wants us to avoid. That is idolatry, and it is hard for Him to establish the relationship that He wants with you if you are always looking to another man to intercede to the Lord for you.

 

You have to have your own personal relationship with the Lord, and then sometimes, especially with a teaching like this, He will send you to a teacher. However, you cannot idolize that person of God or use them as a diviner. You have to find that middle ground.

Revelation 14:4

4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. KJV

 

 

This is the work-up.

 

These are they which [while] in the same place with (with) [Satan], the [spiritual] woman [were] not blackened (defiled). They are virgins because (for) they are disciples of the Lamb [who] accompany Him wherever He goes. These were purchased from adam (among men-444) [who] died a long time ago (from 575 = "away from" and "ago")

 

The word while we are translating which. Satan is amplified in there. The word defile, this is interesting, I looked up the Greek word translated defiled and it means blackened.

 

They are virgins because they are disciples of the lamb, who accompany Him wherever He goes.

 

These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and the lamb. KJV

 

The disciples of the Lamb accompany Him wherever He goes. These were purchased from Adam, these are the firstfruits among men. They were purchased…. I will just give you the alternate translation.

 

These are they that were redeemed from among men… while in the midst of Satan, they were redeemed from among men… That Greek word translated men is Strong’s #444 and that is the word that means a complete man, a man that has Christ added to his carnal nature. It is a completely different word that describes a mortal man.

 

The equivalent Hebrew word is actually Adam, so we are using that here. He was redeemed from Adam who died a long time ago. These were purchased from Adam among men who died a long time ago. That is a translation of Strong’s #575.

 

These are they which are in same place with... that is it. The Greek word translated defiled we are translating not blackened, They are virgins because they are disciples of the lamb who accompany Him wherever He goes. These were purchased from Adam. Purchased is alternate translation of redeemed among men who died a long time ago.

 

I have down the Strong’s #575 but I did not write down what the English word was. …among men, being the firstfruits unto God, and to the lamb. That is what I did. It is Strong’s #575 but I did not write down the English word. These are they which while in the midst of Satan, the spiritual woman were not defiled, that is a partial translation. These are they which while in the midst of Satan… that is their old man.

 

We live in the midst of Satan, this is Satan’s world. Our physical body is a manifestation of the carnal mind. While this purified spirit, the part of us that is being redeemed, our immortal soul, is living in the midst of the spiritual filth of this world, they were not defiled by the woman. These people were not defiled by the old man, by the carnal mind, and that is not so easy to do, brethren.

 

It becomes a real challenge when Christ really starts coming forth in you, and your old man gets desperate and sets out to defeat Him. It is quite an experience, but we learn from the experiences. We have to make mistakes. We think it is God, and then it turns out that it is not, but it is much better to make our mistakes in insignificant issues rather than make a mistake in a major life issue. It is worth making the mistakes; it is worth having the experiences.

 

In the midst of our translation of this verse, Revelation 14:4, we are going to do a study on the word, shadow. I got a little carried away here, which I do sometimes. I said this is going to be a side study on virgin, and I brought forth the verse II Corinthians 11:2. We looked at that, and now we are looking at Revelation 14:4. In the middle of translating that verse, Revelation 14:4, we are going to take a look at some other Scriptures.

 

We are doing another side study on the word shadow, in the midst of this study on virgin, because blackened, alternate translation of the word defiled signifies Adam’s shadow.

 

Adam’s shadow is a major principle of the Doctrine of Christ. This whole world is the valley of the shadow of death. What it means is that we are a conscious shadow of Adam who is standing in right stature. We are his reflection. We are the complete opposite of him. He was good and we are good and evil.

 

In God’s eyes, this world is evil. I do not like people to get upset over the things that I say, but as good as we could be in this world, compared to what a righteous man is like, we are considered evil. Everything is relative, brethren.

 

The word blackened signifies Adam’s shadow which means Leviathan, the pride or the sin nature of mortal man. We are diverting to take a look at this word shadow, and the Scripture I have here is Luke 1:79.

 

 

 

Luke 1:79.

79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. KJV

 

 

We see that the word shadow has to do with death, and that those of us that abide in death, what we are lacking is the light of Christ; that is what we need. The second witness is James 1:17.

 

 

James 1:17.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. KJV

 

 

What that means, brethren, is that the glorified Jesus Christ, the Father of lights never turns to His other side. He never turns to His old man. His carnal mind is never, ever, seen. The carnal mind is completely incased, and covered.

 

In the case of the Lord Jesus Christ, the old man is not just covered, the two men, the old man and the new man, the inner man and the outer man, are so completely integrated that the old man will never, ever, get out. That is in the glorified Jesus Christ. In the days of Jesus’ flesh, that was not the case, but Jesus’ old man was so completely controlled by the lake of fire within Jesus that He was without sin.

 

We see that our immortality or our resurrection is in two stages. The first stage is a return to pretty much the state that the first Adam was in before he fell. Jesus said, No man can take my life. Sin within Him was totally nullified. That is the condition that Adam was in.

 

However, the next stage is the ultimate and is the stage from which Jesus can never fall again. That is the generation known as the last Adam and that is where the old man and the new man are completely integrated with no hope of unraveling.

 

We are back to our study on virgin; this is Revelation 14:4.

 

They are virgins because they are disciples of the lamb…. the lamb is Christ Jesus, …who accompany Him… that is an alternate translation of the word follow, …accompany Him wherever He goes.

 

These were purchased… that is a translation of the word redeemed, …from Adam… that is another translation of men, …who died a long time ago. A long time ago is a translation of the Greek word translated away from. That is the translation of ago, from #575, away from. We are translating that ago; he died a long time ago.

 

These are they which while in the midst of the spiritual woman…, that is our old man, she is a spiritual woman, she is not a man, she is a woman. These are they which while in the midst of the spiritual woman, cannot turn to their shadowy side… the personalities that were agreeing with their Christ mind who did not turn to their shadowy side. They did not, at any time, agree with their old man, or their carnal nature.

 

They are virgins (the virgins that we are talking about) because they are disciples of the lamb (Christ Jesus), who accompany Him wherever He goes. These were purchased or redeemed from the first Adam who died a long time ago.

 

These are people who were redeemed from the company of human beings that signify the first Adam who died a long time ago. A spiritual virgin is a human being, a personality, who has Christ Jesus formed in him, and always consistently identifies Christ Jesus and agrees with Him, with no shadow of turning, no failure.

 

He is never deceived by his carnal mind, and if his old man says, Here I am, this is God speaking, that personality says, Get out of here, you are a liar. That is what it means to be a spiritual virgin. Contrariwise, in this context, if you have Christ Jesus formed in you and you are deceived by your carnal mind, you are guilty of spiritual adultery.

 

There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus; we just have to confess it and repent and go on. However, if you say, I am not capable of spiritual adultery, you do not get the deliverance, and the nature of God is not formed in you in that area, and you do not go on. You are dealing with a spirit of pride.

 

Every man, brethren, is guilty of every sin in the Scripture. In the natural we are potentially guilty of it, and in the spiritual we are actually guilty of it because the spirit of our carnal mind fornicates continuously. In the unconscious realm, she commits every sin known to man.

 

In the conscious realm, in this world, because we are socialized and have been taught to choose good over evil, most people choose good. However, in the unconscious part of our mind, we are all guilty of every sin known to man. It is our nature, it is innate. We were born that way, and that is why we die, and that is why we need a savior to save us from death, and that is why we are being adopted.

 

We are being adopted by Father God. He wants to give us His nature. We are not going into the kingdom with our fallen nature. That is what Jesus was talking about when He gave us the parable about the man who entered into the wedding feast with an inappropriate garment, and he was cast out. The man tried to enter into the kingdom. He tried to enter into the spiritual life of Christ with his old nature. It will not work; you cannot come in with your old nature.

These are they which [while] in the midst of the [spiritual] woman, [did] not [turn to their] shadowy [side]. They are virgins because they are disciples of the Lamb [who] accompany Him wherever He goes. These were purchased from [the first] adam [who] died a long time ago.

The Lamb purchased these disciples from [the first] adam [who] died a long time ago. [But today] they are virgins who accompany [the Lamb] wherever He goes, and [do] not [turn to their] shadowy [side even though they are close enough] to the [spiritual] woman ** [to fornicate with her].

 

 

I have got another secondary side study here on woman. I shall read from my notes.

 

The mortal soul, Nefesh (Animal Nature) and Ruach (raw spiritual power of the creation), collectively called, the Carnal Mind, is the spiritual woman, and the immortal soul, Neshamah (Mind of Christ) and the Chayyah (Spirit of Christ/Life Force/Moral Integrity of God), collectively called the Kingdom of God, is Christ, the spiritual male.

 

Let me read that again. I am defining the spiritual female and the spiritual male for you so that you could help identify it within yourself.

 

The mortal soul called the Nefesh in Kabbalah, is the animal nature and the Ruach, the raw spiritual power of the creation, what we call dunamis in the Greek, are collectively called the carnal mind, and this is the spiritual woman.

 

The immortal soul, the Neshamah, or the mind of Christ and the Chayyah, the Spirit of Christ, also called the life force or the moral integrity of God, are collectively called the Kingdom of God, and this is Christ, the spiritual male.

 

The mortal soul, Nefesh, which in English is the animal nature, is in everybody. Everybody born has that. The Ruach is like the dunamis power that we talk about, it is the raw spiritual power of the creation. Collectively, together the Nefesh and Ruach are called the carnal mind, and this is also the spiritual woman that is in each of us.

 

We have the immortal soul, which in Hebrew, is the Neshamah, the mind of Christ and the Chayyah, which we call the Spirit of Christ. Kabbalah also calls it the life force, and the moral integrity of God. All of these elements collectively are called the Kingdom of God, and the Kingdom of God is Christ, the spiritual male. Those are the two within us.

 

There is a change here. The Lord just gave me some new revelation whilst I have been teaching here. I believe I told you that the mortal soul is the personality, and the immortal soul is the human spirit. Actually I have been preaching that for years, but the Lord just corrected me on that.

 

He just showed me this week, that the human spirit is the breath of life, but not the immortal soul. I was saying the human spirit is the breath of life and also the immortal soul, but it is not. The human spirit is just the human spirit, the breath of life.

 

There are five levels of soul in Kabbalah. Nefesh is the lowest level of soul, the basic personality, the mortal soul. Every human being is born with the Nefesh.

 

Ruach is the spirituality of the natural man. We are animals, we are formed in animal bodies, and the Ruach is the spirituality that goes with the animal nature. The Nephesh and Ruach together form your mortal soul.

 

A lot of people, especially here in Africa, are born with a Rauch. Some people live their whole life and they never acquire a Ruach; they never become spiritual. It is possible that people live and die and do not know or experience anything spiritual. They are as carnal as this chair. It is very common. You may not find it here, but in the United States it is common.

 

They have a Nefesh. They come into the world with a Nefesh, and they leave the world with a Nefesh. Other people come into this world with a Ruach or acquire a Ruach early. They have a Nefesh and a Ruach, and that is your mortal soul. You come into the world with it.

 

The immortal soul is what is added to you. An aspect of the immortal soul is the mind of Christ that is added to you. In Hebrew, it is called the Neshamah, and it is the intellectual mind of God. It is the intellect of God.

 

You could be a genius, you could have a PhD, you could be the greatest professional in the world, but you do not have the mind of God, and no matter how smart you are, you will come up against something, most likely spiritual things, that you cannot comprehend. You could be a genius and not comprehend the things of God.

 

The immortal soul is the mind that comes from God, the mind of Christ (in Hebrew, the Neshamah), along with a spirit, the Spirit of Christ (in Hebrew, the Chayyah). Mind comes with a spirit. There is always a soul and a spirit. The spirit of the mind of Christ, the spiritual aspect of the immortal soul is the Chayyah. It is the moral integrity or the life force of God.

 

In English we call it the Spirit of Christ. Christ and the Spirit of Christ are your immortal soul. You can lose your immortal soul. How could that be? God cannot die, the glorified Jesus cannot die, but Christ that is growing in you can die. You can have a spontaneous abortion, you can abort. Our immortal soul is something that is added to us when we pursue God, but we can lose it.

 

However, the degree to which this immortal soul is formed in us when we pass out of this body at the point of death, is what determines if we go on to be protected in Abraham’s bosom. I hope in this generation none of us is going to pass out of this body. We are all hoping that the door will open in our lifetime for this opportunity to go on to immortality.

 

However, if it does not, and we pass out of this physical body, it is the Neshamah and the Chayyah or the mind of Christ and the Spirit of Christ, if it has been developed in you that go to be protected in Abraham’s bosom.

 

If the mind of Christ was never formed in you, then there is no part of you that goes to Abraham’s bosom. The Nefesh and the Ruach come under the dominion of the other side which has the authority to force it into reincarnation.

 

If the mind of Christ and the Spirit of Christ are present in you, when you pass out of your body, you shall be protected in Abraham’s bosom. The immortal soul takes your mortal soul with it because the immortal soul covers or clothes the mortal soul. If you have a Neshamah (the mind of Christ) and Chayyah (Spirit of Christ), it is clothing your Nephesh and your Ruach, and they are now one soul with two aspects.

 

However, I do not know the significant strength that will qualify them to be protected in Abraham’s bosom. If you pass out of this body and the judgment is made that your mind of Christ is developed enough to qualify you to go to Abraham’s bosom, your whole soul, the immortal aspect of it and the mortal aspect of it, would go into Abraham’s bosom, and you are protected against the enforced reincarnation.

 

The other side forces the spiritual act of reincarnation so that it can feed off of us. The soul that is protected in Abraham’s bosom is no longer subject to the powers of this world that have the authority to enforce reincarnation. We are protected from that in Abraham’s bosom, and in that event, that soul would only reincarnate under Jesus’ command. On that last day, we are going to be in the flesh for an assignment.

 

Are there any questions on that? The Lord just showed me that as I prepared all of these messages. Actually I drew a diagram, but it was not exactly right but I just did not have time to do another one.

 

There is one more level of soul, it is called Yechidah. It is the fifth level of soul, and it is like a wall. It is a wall around the immortal soul. The Neshamah, mind of Christ, and the Chayyah, Spirit of Christ, the immortal soul, clothes the mortal soul, the Nefesh, the Ruach, and then there is a wall around it (not touching it), and that is called the Yechidah.

 

When this happens, it is called oneness, and that is when you become invulnerable. It is a manifestation of the glorified Jesus Christ who starts out in our innermost being, in the form of Christ and matures through all of the stages of Christ Jesus.

 

Then at some stage of maturity the Spirit of Christ shines through us so brightly. It is really an aura; it is the aura of God. That is what it is. All men have an aura. The church cannot deny it anymore because science has shown that all human beings have an aura. However the aura that human beings have is really Satan because the spiritual power of the natural man is Satan. It does not mean we are terrible people because I tell you that Satan is in us. Satan is good and evil.

 

There is another aura however, and it is an aura that comes from the indwelling Spirit of Christ. This is what the Scripture calls Peter’s shadow. When people passed through Peter’s shadow they were healed, because the Spirit of God was shining so brightly through him. It emanated through him. I do not know how many feet it emanated out from him, but anyone who passed through it was healed.

 

Auras are very interesting. I have a lot of experiences that I experience just once or twice because the Lord wants to teach me something, and this experience that I am about to share with you is one of such.

 

One day in our fellowship in my house, one of the sisters was sitting in the chair in the living room. She was very angry at me and I did not know it. I was not ministering, I was in my bedroom and I was fine. I appeared in the doorway on my way to another room, and to get to where I was going, I had to walk past her. She was sitting on the couch reading or doing something. By the time I got past her I was totally enraged.

 

I was so filled with anger that I could hardly contain myself, and I had no conscious understanding of what had happened to me. I am a spiritually sensitive person, and the Lord has trained me how to deal with these things, because I feel other people’s feelings all of the time. I got a grip on myself, and I started rebuking the anger, and rebuking the pride and asking the Lord, What in the world happened to me?

 

I was happy as a bug in a rug when I walked through that door, and by the time I got past her, I was ready to kill. The Lord told me that the sister was very angry at me, and I had walked through her aura. I looked over at her, and in a million years I would never guessed that she was angry with me. She looked very peaceful. Even if I doubted that it was the voice of the Lord talking to me, I knew that I was enraged and that something had to happen to me.

 

I called the sister inside and with much pain I got her to admit that she was very angry with me. I say with much pain because this woman has a lot of trouble expressing her feelings and she would have never told me in a million years that she was angry with me.

 

The Lord wanted me to know that she was angry so that I could deal with it, but I also learned this lesson about auras. It was just the most incredible experience. Those of us who are spiritual need to know about this because we could walk out and walk through somebody’s aura and turn around and have a fight with the person we are with and not even know what hit us.

 

We really have to be educated in these areas, to recognize these things and to know how to deal with the thoughts and the emotions that come into our mind. We cannot be controlled by emotions. We must be controlled by the rational mind of Christ. The mind of Christ must lead the emotions. That is the virgin that Paul is talking about; the male mind must lead the emotions or the spiritual person will be destroyed.

 

 

1 Corinthians 14:34

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches:  for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. KJV

 

 

Let your women keep silence in the churches… Brethren, this is the carnal mind. The carnal mind should not speak when a person manifesting the Christ mind is speaking.

 

The fellowship in New York was invited to a barbecue a few years ago, and there was a very carnal Christian there who was not a part of the fellowship. Everybody was interested in hearing some good teaching, but this woman would not keep quiet. She did not know what she was talking about, she was not qualified to teach, and she was going on and on and on because her pride was just raging.

 

We are required to recognize when someone that the Lord wants to teach through is present and you are required to control your carnal mind because that is all pride. It is all pride, and that is the woman that is to be silent in the church.

 

It does not mean you cannot have your own opinion. It does not mean you cannot ask a question. Being silent in the church means do not compete when someone with the mind of Christ is teaching. Do not compete. You can ask a question, or if you would rather not ask a question, go home and ask your husband at home. Ask the Lord at home; do not interfere with the message. That is what He is talking about.

 

Our command is to be under obedience as also saith the law, under obedience to whom? We are to be under obedience to Christ. If you are a person that does not have the Christ mind, then you should not be talking. You should be listening and trying to learn. Nobody is interested in what you carnal mind or your spiritual woman knows, and that is because it is usually not valid.

 

Please do not misunderstand what I am saying. If someone has information or something to contribute, there is always a time or a place for that, but do not compete with the mind of Christ. That is basically the message, do not interfere.

 

We have our alternate translation, I read that already.

 

 

Alternate, AMPLIFIED, Translation, Revelation 14:4

The Lamb purchased these disciples from [the first] adam [who] died a long time ago. [But today] they are virgins who accompany [the Lamb] wherever He goes, and [do] not [turn to their] shadowy [side even though they are close enough] to the [spiritual] woman ** [to fornicate with her].

 

 

We are back to our study in Matthew 26:10-13, and we are up to verse 11.

 

 

Matthew 26:11

11 For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. KJV

 

 

Because the [spiritually] poor and wretched are always joined (have=possess) to [the ungodly spiritual forces] within themselves (you), but [they are] not always joined (have) to me.

 

For ye have the poor always with you, but me ye have not always. This is an interesting translation. Poor here we are translating poor and wretched. I think I changed this later on. Another translation of this word poor is frightened, and the significance (I think I put this in for the study in Mark, but I will give it to you now), the significance of being frightened is the Scripture that says, Perfect love cast out fear.

 

The significance of that is when we are perfected in Christ Jesus, we no longer experience fear apart from the fear of God. When our personality is so joined to Him, the only fear that we have is a fear of God, a fear of displeasing God, of somehow being separated from God. When we come to that place through many experiences, we do not fear anything in the world. We do not fear man or what man can do to us. The only fear we have is a fear of God.

 

Right now, who do we fear more, Father God or the people that are threatening us in the world? We are caught between two fears. We say you are caught between a rock and hard place. An example of this situation is the young man who was a sort of scary cat little guy, and the kids at school were threatening him.

 

He came running home one day to his father, and said, Dad, the boys are after me. They are going to beat me up. His father said, Go back and fight, because you either fight them or you fight me, so stop being a scary cat, and go deal with them. Not that I believe in fighting but sometimes you have to fight. His father said, You cannot live as a scary cat. Who do you fear more, those kids that are threatening you, or me, your father?

 

Who do we fear more, Father God or the people that are threatening us in the world? If we truly fear God more than anybody else, there is nothing anybody can do to harm us. Scripturally, people who are fearful (and fearful is one of the translations of the word for poor), people who are fearful are identified as people who do not have a saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. They are always afraid. I do not care how tough somebody looks in the world, they are always afraid.

 

We had an economic crash in the United States, in 1929, and some very powerful people, millionaires and billionaires, were jumping out the windows committing suicide because they could not cope with the thought of life, existence, without their rich lifestyle. Those were fearful people, brethren, and the more people have outside of Christ, the more they are afraid of not having it.

 

When what we have is given to us by God, no man can take it away. The more power you have in this world, the more afraid you are. The higher the position of your job, the more you fear that someone else wants your job. This is because the more money you make, the fewer the jobs in that category. We all know that.

 

The higher you go, the more you fear, even if it is not in your conscious mind. What if I am getting too old? What if a new boss comes in and he does not like me? What if I cannot do it anymore? My job will be gone. What will I do in this world? That is the fear we do not have when we are truly connected to Christ.

 

Everything that I tell you is to help us determine where we are. There is never any condemnation here. When we find out where we are, then we can find out what needs to be done, and do what needs to be done.

 

We have to be afraid of God. We have to be more afraid of God than what other people can do to us. We have to find out what He wants us to do, and do it, no matter what it looks like.

 

To relate this to this message, the English word poor is a translation of a Greek word that means a frightened person. A person who is frightened in this world does not always look frightened. If you had a spiritual x-ray machine, you would see that some of the most prosperous people are terrified of losing what they had. The more we have, the more we are afraid of losing it.

 

That is the significance of this word poor; poor and frightened. These are the spiritually poor and wretched, or those who have not joined to Jehovah (or Jesus in our day). The word joined is a translation of the English word possess.

 

They are terrified of the ungodly spiritual forces within themselves. The people who are poor and wretched, not joined to Jehovah or Jesus, are always joined to the ungodly spiritual forces within themselves. They are not always joined to me, Jesus said.

 

This is such a deep message. It is the foundational message of the Doctrine of Christ, and it has to get out to the Church. Listen brethren, every man alive (and when I say man, I mean man or woman, every human being that has breath), is attached to the ungodly forces within themselves called their old man, or their carnal mind.

 

To have existence in the world, you are attached to your old man and the carnal mind which is a part of him, and not everybody has the Christ mind. That is what Jesus is saying. He is saying, I am having mercy on this woman, because I know everybody in this world is attached to the ungodly forces. Not everybody has me, and I am laboring the spiritual labor to help her because I want to see her come through this. Everybody does not have me.

 

That is what Jesus was saying to Simon and Judas. Look at you, you are jealous of this woman when you have me, when you have a soul tie with me. The Scripture makes it clear in almost every gospel (I am not sure if it is all four gospels), that Jesus had a soul tie with Simon. That means the mind of Christ was available to Simon for the corrective judgment of his soul.

 

Jesus was saying to him, Simon, you have all of these benefits that only a few people in the world had, and you are jealous of this poor soul who has just been delivered from hell. Shame on you, shame on you, you Pharisee.

 

 

Alternate Translation, Verse 11

Because the [spiritually] poor and wretched and frightened in this world are always joined to [the ungodly spiritual forces] within themselves, but [they are] not always joined to me.

 

 

It does not sound anything at all like the King James translation, but it is the doctrine of Christ. It is the foundational message that the Church needs to hear.

 

 

Verse 12,

12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. KJV

 

 

Because this is the same [woman] that burned incense (ointment) to that [statue] in order to (on) overshadow/dominate (bury) my mind ([spiritual] body), to the end that (did) she could band together with (for) me

 

For in that she has poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial? No brethren, she did it for the burial of her carnal mind, and for the mind of Christ. Let me examine this. The word ointment we are translating burned incense, burned incense to the alabaster statue. The English word bury is a translation of the Greek word that means to overshadow or to dominate.

 

The suggestion here is that this woman came to Jesus with the direct intention of dominating Him, and in one of the earlier messages (I guess it has to be part one or part two of our study in Matthew), I speculated as to what the purpose of the woman with the alabaster statue was. Why was she coming to Jesus?

 

One of the suggestions that I considered was that she saw a man with spiritual power, and she came to challenge him because she wanted His power. That is the explanation that is coming forth as I work my way through the four counterparts of this account in the four gospels. That is what she was there for. She came to bind her mind to Jesus’ mind to control Him and thereby avail herself of His power. That is what she wanted.

 

The word body…. the King James says, she did it for my burial, or she poured the ointment on my body. Brethren we have all kinds of bodies. Our physical body is not the only body that we have. A body is a container. The mind is the body of the spirit, so when Jesus talked about His body, He could be talking about His mind. His mind is the body of His spirit. The spirit lives in the mind. I want to suggest to you that the Scripture is talking about Jesus’ mind, the body of His spirit.

 

The English word for is a translation of the Greek word that means to band or to bind together with.

 

 

Alternate Translation verse 12

Because this is the same woman who burnt incense to that statue in order to bind together with my mind, so that she could dominate me.

 

 

That is why she was there; she came to take His power.

 

 

Verse 13,

13 Verily I say unto you, where so ever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. KJV

 

 

I am telling you the truth, when this gospel [of the Kingdom] is preached anywhere in the world, it shall also be told how [I] banded together with (hath done) this woman to punish [Satan, the unconscious part of the Carnal Mind], bring [Leviathan, the subconscious part of the Carnal Mind] into submission, and train [Cain, the conscious animal nature of the Carnal Mind] (memorial 3422. 3421 can be translated "to punish, etc")

 

What did she do that the story should be pronounced through the whole world? It just makes no sense; it makes no sense at all. This is what that verse means. Jesus says, I am telling you the truth, when this gospel, which gospel? Which gospel? I am continuously updating these revelations as I do more work, the Lord shows me more and more accurately, so I now understand that this is talking about the gospel of Christ.

 

There are many gospels. There is the gospel of God, there is the gospel of peace, there is the gospel of Christ, there is the gospel of the Kingdom, and there is the gospel of the Kingdom of heaven. So we see an unmodified word. I am telling you the truth, when this gospel…. what gospel? I am telling you that it should be the gospel of Christ.

 

What is the gospel of Christ, it is this message that God must be formed in you, and mature into Christ Jesus and dominate, and overshadow and ultimately nullify your sin nature. The gospel of Christ is the good news of Christ in you, the hope of your glorification.

 

It is about who He is, what He is, how He is going to be grafted to you, what He wants to do when He is grafted to you, what your job is, and how you can help Him. That is the gospel of Christ. That is what this whole account is about.

 

So Jesus says, Look, I am telling you the truth, when this gospel of Christ is preached, anywhere in the world, it shall also be told how I gathered together with…. and that is a translation of done, ….how I banded together with this woman to punish Satan, the unconscious part of her carnal mind, to bring Leviathan, the subconscious part of the carnal mind into submission, and to train Cain, the conscious animal nature of the carnal mind….

 

It should say ….to submit to Abel. Over here, I have the word memorial from the King James, be told for a memorial of her. That word is Strong’s #3422.

 

There is one word before it, Strong’s #3421. This can be translated to punish. I want to tell you that there is not a doubt in my mind that some transcriber, some scribe, someone who translated, looked at the word punish and said, This cannot possibly be the Greek word. This cannot possibly be correct, it must be a mistake, and they changed the Greek word from Strong’s #3421 to Strong’s 3422.

 

When I first started doing these studies, I was so worried that the brethren would not be able to receive my alternate translations that I would prove every little word. I would say, this is Strong’s number so and so, and I looked it up and it went to Strong’s number so and so, I would bend over backwards to give the brethren, proof that I am not just making this up out of the air.

 

Now that I read some of the writings by these Kabbalists, I see that they do not bother. Do you know what a Kabbalists would do? He would look at this and he would say, This word is Strong’s #3422 which means “memorial”, but that is a mistake. It is really #3421, and the word is “to punish”, and if you do not like it you should not be in this class. That is what they tell you.

 

You can believe it or not believe it, but if you do not believe it, you should pray about it if you want to do yourself a service. You should pray about it. I am telling you that the correct Greek word is Strong’s 3421 and the wrong word is in the verse, and the word should be to punish.

 

This is what the verse is saying,

 

I am telling you the truth, whenever this gospel of Christ is preached anywhere in the world, it will also be preached how I bound this woman’s carnal mind and punished Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, and brought Leviathan the subconscious part of the carnal mind into submission and trained Cain the conscious animal nature of the carnal mind to submit to Abel.

 

Every time the gospel of Christ is preached (this message of Christ, who Christ is, what He is, what He is to you, what His job is and what your job is), you will hear also taught, how the carnal mind must be bound by the Christ mind. That is what Jesus was saying.

 

I have what I call an Alternate Amplified Translation. I looked at it and just put into better English. It is now no longer a word for word translation, but it makes sense under the anointing and with the revelation that the Lord has given me.

 

I am telling you the truth, whenever this gospel of Christ is preached anywhere in the world, it will also be taught how I bound this woman’s carnal mind, punished Satan the unconscious part of the carnal mind, brought Leviathan the subconscious part of the carnal mind into submission, and trained Cain the conscious animal nature of the carnal mind, to submit to Abel.

When Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered them saying, YHVH has cut the woman away from the spirit that was controlling her, and I am working to guard her spiritual virtue with the spiritual labor which comes from the world above.

Wednesday night will be my last night here. If at all possible, I would really like to finish this study before I leave, but if I cannot I will mail you the messages. What we have left is Mark. We have the critical verses in Mark and secondary verses in Mark, which I could probably do in one evening, and then we have John.

 

I do not know if I could preach it. It depends on how long you could stay. I know that you have situations, and that you have to get home and all that, so I will do the best that I can. I do not know if you want to stay tonight. I have part of Mark finished, but I need to rest.

 

If you want to stay, I could say that I would be back by 6:30, but then, I do not know how long it would take. Maybe it would take me two hours to preach the first part of Mark. However it is strictly up to you. If you have to go home, that is fine. I will finish it up in New York and I will send you the messages. Honestly discuss what you want to do and just let me know. I am going to go rest.

 

COMMENT:  I have a question on the studies we did some days ago, on Reuben. I used to think or believe, from reading the Scriptures, that Reuben committed incest with his father’s concubine. I got that from reading Genesis 49, and would like to read it now, if I may.

 

 

Genesis 49, 1-4.

1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.

3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power :

4 Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it :  he went up to my couch. KJV

 

 

 

The question that came to my mind at that time was, What could have made Reuben, a spiritual person, a child of Jacob who had God’s commandments and all that, commit that kind of sin? However, when you expounded on how Jacob, the father, committed incest by laying with Leah whilst having Rachael on his mind, I said to myself, That must have been the same spirit in Reuben! Apparently, the root of that sin was in the father, for the son to actually do that act too.

 

I have another question. I would like you to talk on the day of calamity. What is the day of our calamity?

 

PASTOR VITALE:  I have been asked to explain the day of calamity. The day of calamity in the Scripture is clearly associated with spiritual childbirth. It is associated with the day that a man will have his hands on his loins as a woman in travail. It is talking about what we go through when the Lord really goes after our carnal mind to bring it into submission.

 

The carnal mind is a wild raging beast, no matter how nice a person you are. Being nice just means we are socialized. We have experienced kindness from our parents and we have been taught how to behave in polite society. However, stripped of these personalities that we have (which are really masks), we are all wild raging beasts underneath. This is our fallen condition. This is the beast that Paul said he was struggling with in Ephesus, the unconscious parts of the mind of man.

 

When the day comes that the Lord says to any particular person, I am making you mine, and I am calling forth Christ in you. I am calling you forth to manifest my nature, that beast has to be brought into submission and it does not come willingly. It usually requires hardship on the part of the person. If the person does not understand what is happening, they will say, Satan is after me! God is not helping me, I must be a terrible sinner.

 

The problem is that the symptoms vary from person to person. I had a very hard time. I do not want anyone listening to this message to judge themselves by me. I am called to a very high office, so I had a very hard time. Even other people that will be teaching this message may not have such a hard time as I did.

 

It is an apostolic doctrine and I am the one that is bringing it forth, so nobody should anticipate going through what I went through. I almost died several times. I went through very, very hard times in my life, and I do not feel to expound on it in this message.

 

Other people would have died, or would have gone insane. Someone could have had a nervous breakdown from it. The whole purpose of it was to bring my carnal nature, my old man into submission to the point that the Lord could do with me what He did.

 

Can you imagine being the only one that you know in the whole world that is getting this kind of doctrine? Can you imagine sitting in your church, and your pastor does not know anything about it, your brethren do not know anything about it? Can you imagine that?

 

I was just an average person. Can you imagine God coming to someone in the church and saying, Your pastor is not your head. He is not your head, do not listen to him, listen to me? This happened to me. I was not married. I thought I had a demon.

 

For years I prayed on the floor, Lord where is this message coming from? You have got to deliver me from this devil! For years I was upset, until I finally just accepted it, because I had prayed every way I knew how, and I looked at my whole life and I was getting better, not worse. I did not even have any choice. There was no place to go. I was in God’s hands and if it was not Him, I was destroyed. I just could not move. It was very hard; I am really making it very simple.

 

He had to break me, and break my old man and that was my day of calamity. I survived the day of calamity and today, I do not care if I am the only one in the whole world that believes this doctrine.

 

I am so grateful for all of you who will sit here and listen to me, but I was telling sister Xxx the other day, that I would not care if I was the only one in the whole world that believed this doctrine. I am that convinced that it is God. It is so delicious, it is so good, it is so healing in my life that if I was the only one in the world, I would still go for it.

 

In those days, I was just an average woman who was a widow trying to raise a child and work a second job, and I was sick all of the time. I just wanted to survive. People betrayed me, my pastor betrayed me, doctors betrayed me. Terrible things happened to me. I am telling you, I was abused, I was used. It was just unbelievable what happened to me, but the end of the whole thing was, that I was so beaten that Christ rose in me.

 

Basically the day of calamity is the day of childbirth. That is what it means. I do not like to preach this message, but it is the truth. Everybody who reaches the place in God, where the Lord says, I am about to overthrow your carnal mind, because I want Christ to appear in you, has to have some kind of hard time. It does not have to be like mine, please do not measure yourself with me, but you have to have some pain because your old man is not going to take it sitting down.

 

The process builds our faith, and the end of the whole thing is childbirth in Christ. I do not think that there is any way to give birth to Christ without some kind of discomfort. Our natural example is childbirth. Some women have much easier childbirths than others, but everyone goes through some discomfort or pain.

 

I have known women who were in labor for twenty four hours. I only had one child and I had a cesarean section because I would have died in childbirth if I was not born in this day and age. My whole pelvic bone structure would not have let the child pass through the birth canal, so I did not go through childbirth.

 

However, my niece went through childbirth for twenty four hours. I took one look at her, she was really beat. My mother had three children. I was born in four hours. My mother was on a stretcher in the hospital, telling the doctor that the baby is coming, and he said, Hold it in, it is coming too fast.

 

There are all different levels of difficulty, but there has to be some difficulty, and that is the day of calamity. As I always say, The more we understand, the more we can work with the Lord, and the more we work with the Lord, the easier it is going to be.

 

Have I answered your question? I hope I balanced it for you. There is no way to do it without pain, brethren, but it does not have to be as disastrous as it was for me, and even though it was disastrous for me, look at what I became. Look at what He made me, and I survived it. I did not wind up in a mental institution.

 

I was very sick, and I knew that I was fading. I just was not coping. I knew I was dying, and just before I went into the hospital for three months, the whole burden was just too much for me. I was working, and looking after my child who unfortunately was very rebellious (but I know the Lord is dealing with her and will deal with her).

 

At some point, I remember I was lying down on my couch after work one night, and I said, I think I have to be institutionalized. It must have been a word of knowledge. I did not know whether it meant a mental institution. I think I thought it meant a mental institution. However, that was not it. It was not a mental institution but I was literally institutionalized in the hospital. Anyone that is in hospital for three months is institutionalized.

 

When I came out of the hospital, I was very dependent. I had been an independent woman. I had been on my own for a long time. Before I ever came to the Lord, I was traveling around Europe. I was not a woman that did not have any experiences in the world, and I had my own place before I got married.

 

After being in the hospital for three months, I could not believe how dependent I was. I was actually afraid to be on my own again. I experienced fear. I will not say I was afraid, but I felt fear in my heart, that I was going home and I was going to have to start shopping and cooking and doing things for myself again. Three months is a long time to have somebody doing everything for you.

 

When I got into my house, I walked straight to where I had a set of chairs and table where I use to preach in those days. The set consists of a little white table, sort of like a patio table, something like what Xxxx has but smaller, and white chairs. I walked into my house and I looked at that set where I use to preach and I sat down on a chair, and I am telling you the Lord manifested Himself.

 

My back got really straight, and I heard a lion roaring in my head and I knew it was the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and He was saying, I have prevailed, she did not die. I knew that is what He was saying, and I went forward from there. The last message I preached before I went into the hospital, was message #82, and I preached it lying down on my couch. To this day, Satan knows that if she wants to stop me, she has to kill me. I am very hard to stop.

 

That is my story; I hope I answered your question. I would not want to go through it again, but it was absolutely worth it.

 

COMMENT:  My question is about the woman with the alabaster statue. I am confused as to the identity of the woman that was brought to the Lord Jesus Christ to be stoned to death for adultery. I used to think that the woman was Mary Magdalene. Is she the woman with the alabaster statue? Are these three women three different people? I would like you to clarify that.

 

PASTOR VITALE:  To answer your question, let me say this. One of the principles that drove me into this study was that someone in New York had suggested that the woman with the alabaster box was Mary Magdalene, and I felt I wanted to…. No, actually we were thinking…. Well, it was Mary Magdalene. It comes out in the book of John, that it is Mary Magdalene, but we are talking about the adulterous woman.

 

Something had come up about Mary and Martha. Let me just say this. Initially I was thinking that it was Mary from Mary and Martha that was this sinner and then I thought that it was Mary that was the adulterous woman. Something that had come forth in New York was leading in that direction and so I started to do this study.

 

I never know what I am going to find when I start a study. It turned out that the woman with the alabaster statue is not the adulterous woman. I could not find any evidence that could tie them together. I was looking for it when I did the study but I could not find it. I hope I answered your question.

 

I eliminated the woman who was caught in adultery, and I eliminated Mary of Mary and Martha, and it appears that Mary Magdalene is the one.
