PRESS RELEASE #97

Three Popular Spanish Dishes for Food Enthusiasts to Try

Based in New York, Sheila Vitale leads Living Epistles Ministries and Christ-Centered Kabbalah as the founder and pastor. In her spare time, Sheila Vitale enjoys traveling throughout Europe and the USA and enjoys cuisine from French, African, and Spanish origins. Below are three tasty and authentic Spanish dishes.

1. Paella Valenciana. This dish is likely the most popular of all Spanish gastronomical delights and features two different recipes, one of which includes seafood and the other chicken and rabbit. Paella Valenciana also features saffron rice and is always eaten as a lunchtime dish.

2. Patatas bravas. This dish literally means “brave potatoes,” and was named because of its spicy sauce. This recipe is a staple of classic tapas menus and consists of cubed and shallow-fried potatoes covered in sauces featuring spicy ketchup, smoked paprika, or garlic mayonnaise.

3. Gazpacho. Originating from the Spanish region of Andalusia, this tomato-based soup is served cold and is most commonly consumed in the summer. Its main ingredients include tomatoes, garlic, peppers, bread, and plenty of olive oil.
