SHEILA R. VITALE’S SPIRITUAL TRANSLATIONS OF SCRIPTURE

Based in Port Jefferson Station, New York, Sheila Vitale established Living Epistles Ministries in 1988 and continues to lead the organization in the roles of pastor and teacher. Sheila Vitale is also a published author who has released several alternate translations of scripture.

Pastor Vitale’s Alternate Translation of the Book of the Revelations of Jesus Christ to St. John was published in 2014. The text has been analyzed through a spiritual lens in accordance with the Doctrine of Christ. The book does not function as a replacement for more traditional interpretations of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ to St. John, but rather as a spiritually-focused rendition based on a deep understanding of scripture.

Pastor Vitale has taken on more ambitious alternate translation projects in the form of the Old Testament and the New Testament. These books account for more than 1,000 pages of alternate translations, with a focus on spiritual subtext only hinted at in the original versions. Again, these texts do not serve to replace longstanding translations, but rather to amplify a reader’s understanding of and connection to Godly spirituality.
